The collection also includes a brand new anniversary song to celebrate the series&#8217; 30th anniversary since its original release. The collection is available for pre-purchase starting today, and officially launches for the hybrid console in December.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"480\" height=\"270\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/z-ZiJKMdHg4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The spin-off series received generally favorable reviews upon its release, though not quite as loved by fans and critics as the original <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/final-fantasy\/\"><em>Final Fantasy<\/em><\/a> franchise at the time. The <em>Final Fantasy Legend<\/em> series was known as the <em>SaGa<\/em> series outside of the United States, and later received sequels and spin-offs of its own with the <em>SaGa Frontier<\/em> games on the original PlayStation.<\/p>\n<p>This wasn&#8217;t the only title announced during today&#8217;s Nintendo Direct Mini Partner Showcase, which many other games getting reveal trailers alongside it. Some other notable games that received trailers were <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/puyo-puyo-tetris-2-switch-release-date\/\"><em>Puyo Puyo Tetris 2<\/em>, the sequel to 2017&#8217;s puzzle cross-over game<\/a>,<em> Kingdom Hearts: Melody of<\/em> Memory, a rhythm spin-off of the long-running <em>Kingdom Hearts<\/em> franchise, <em>Taiko no Tatsujin Rhythem Adventure Pack<\/em>, <em>Just Dance 2021, <\/em>and much more.<\/p>\n<p>This Nintendo Direct Mini Partner Showcase was the second of its kind, with Nintendo has releasing its first partner showcase back in July. During the July Partner Showcase, the company revealed some noteworthy titles including <em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/shin-megami-3-nocturne-hd-remaster-switch\/\">Shin Megami Tensai 3: Nocturn HD<\/a>. <\/em>This was only the second Partner Showcase, with possibly several more still to come. The Japanese game company recently stated that there will be more Direct Mini Partner Showcases to be coming throughout this year. Nintendo also previously commented on its approach to Nintendo Directs moving forward, stating that they may change as the company has been looking into different means for announcing its titles.
