The <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/serious-sam-4-gameplay-trailer\/\">latest tease for\u00a0<em>Serious Sam 4<\/em><\/a> has unveiled a look at a new type of mech that players will have access to, which is sure to bring plenty of carnage.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/serious-sam-4\/\"><em>Serious Sam 4<\/em><\/a> is intended to be a canon prequel to the previous <em>Serious Sam<\/em> games, telling the story of evil villain Mental&#8217;s first attacks as well as revealing some more about Sam&#8217;s origins. Unfortunately, <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/serious-sam-4-release-date-delayed\/\"><em>Serious Sam 4<\/em> was recently hit with delays<\/a> thanks to coronavirus and has been pushed back to a release date of September 24. Console players will also have to wait a while longer with the game releasing only on PC and Stadia initially, with a console release window set for 2021.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/serious-sam-free-gog-giveaway-august-2020\/\">Serious Sam Free on GOG For Limited Time<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The new video released by Devolver Digital shows Sam suiting up in a mech suit titled the &#8216;Popemobile,&#8217; which he gains from none other than the Vatican. The mech suit stands impressively tall, towering over many buildings and it looks like it packs some serious firepower with both\u00a0machine guns and rocket launchers on board. In typical <em>Serious Sam<\/em> humor, the intercom announces the\u00a0tagline &#8220;let God sort them out&#8221; before the video shows some POV footage of the\u00a0Popemobile suit taking out waves of enemies.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"480\" height=\"270\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/RTxQZK5iHuI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Towards the end of the footage, the true enemy that the Popemobile will face is revealed.
