It\u2019s a bit one-note by this point to dwell on Genshin Impact<\/em><\/strong>\u2019s similarity to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild<\/em>. Sure, miHoYo\u2019s upcoming open-world action-RPG bears more than a few similarities to the Nintendo classic that many have found controversial<\/a>, but it also has a lot that helps it stand out. For one, it\u2019s free-to-play. For another, it\u2019s coming to the PS4 next month.<\/p>\n

After more than a year of hyping its existence, miHoYo finally answered the question of when the game is finally being released earlier this month. At the time, though, it only confirmed the PC and mobile release date for\u00a0Genshin Impact<\/em>\u00a0<\/a>, leaving fans to assume the PS4 version would come sometime later. Turns out that won\u2019t be the case, though, because today it was confirmed that the PS4 version will be out on September 28, the same day as the PC and mobile versions. Better yet, it will come with some exclusive bonuses.<\/p>\n

The PlayStation Blog details these features. When the game comes to PS4, players will receive access to two exclusive items, the Sword of Descension and Wings of Descension. According to the Blog\u2019s description the Sword of Descension will provide players with a \u201cconsiderable increase to attack damage\u201d as well as a \u201cchance of dealing additional damage to nearby opponents.\u201d The Wings of Descension, meanwhile, is a glider that will let them get around Genshin Impact<\/em>\u2019s world<\/a> quickly and \u201csafely navigate heights that would be otherwise impossible.\u201d<\/p>\n

miHoYo promises that more exclusive bonuses will come to the game in the future. In the meantime, players can get their hands on additional content courtesy of a pre-order bundle available now in the North American and European PlayStation Store. For $9.99, the Adventurer\u2019s Starter Bundle will provide players with a variety of items designed to get them off to a smoother start once Genshin Impact<\/em><\/a>\u00a0launches.
