The summer update for\u00a0GTA Online<\/em><\/a> has finally arrived and is a little lackluster compared to what fans were expecting. There are plenty of new cars to play with, missions to explore, and the Diamond Casino adversary series, but this feels hollow. Rockstar pointed out these new additions, but they left out some important, although smaller, updates that were also added that make the DLC a little better.<\/p>\n

Many of these small updates went unnoticed as fans quickly latched onto the biggest parts of the update. Quality of life is important to any\u00a0GTA<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>player and that is why this list is filled with those parts of the update that many might have overlooked.<\/p>\n

10 <\/span>Additional Properties<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Rockstar has finally increased the number of properties<\/a> you can own. While you can’t buy extra night clubs or businesses, you can now own two additional standard properties such as garages and apartments. This is great for any player who loves buying vehicles and won’t stop any time soon. The addition of this update allows for an extra twenty car slots which makes it possible to own a majority of the cars in the game. There is no better way to show off your wealth than owning a total of eight properties.<\/p>\n

9 <\/span>New Collectibles<\/h2>\n

Part of the summer update brought in new movie collectibles for players to bring to Solomon for a nice reward. For finding all ten of them, you get a bonus one hundred and fifty thousand dollars that you can promptly deposit into your bank account for an increased rainy day fund. You also get the Space Interloper<\/a> costume added to your inventory. Sure, many players hate Solomon for always reminding you to bring him cars, but at least this is slightly more bearable.<\/p>\n

8 <\/span>Lucky Wheel Timer<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Thanks to the new update, there is a timer that will remind you when you can spin the wheel in Diamond Casino again. There will be no more going to the casino just to find out you have to wait even longer to get your daily spin<\/a> in. This is one of many quality of life changes that they made to help people in the game.<\/p>\n

7 <\/span>Vehicle Return<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

One of the many overlooked parts of the update is how easy it is to return your personal vehicle to storage. Before the update, you either needed to be an MC or take the vehicle back to your garage on your own.<\/p>\n

Now you can open up the interaction menu ^ find a new button that allows you to return your car no matter\u00a0the location. Another quality of life aspect that many fans have been asking for and have finally received.<\/p>\n

6 <\/span>New Clothing<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Rockstar has finally added some new clothing options. They decided to add over two hundred new items to further increase the already massive selection of clothes. Some of these include sports tops, polo shirts, masks, and more. Tired of your boring old wardrobe? Go to your nearest Ponsonbys and check out the new selection.<\/p>\n

5 <\/span>Business Battles<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

There are now two new business battles that players can take part in to gain some additional funds for their illegal activities. These new business battles are Aircraft Carrier Assault and Factory Road. The Aircraft Carrier Assault mission tasks players with boarding an aircraft carrier and stealing weapons<\/a> that need to be returned to the nightclub for a reward. Factory Road brings players to the steel foundry where they must break in and steal the cargo inside. Both of these are a little harder than other business battles, but they offer new ways to play that are more exciting than the previous ones.<\/p>\n

4 <\/span>Arcade Cabinets<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Two new games have been added to the arcade store for players to purchase. These new games include Axe of Fury and QUB3D. In Axe of Fury, you swing the axe down and see how hard of a hit you can get. QUB3D, on the other hand, is more like\u00a0Tetris.\u00a0<\/em>In it, you must connect blocks of the same color as they fall from the top of the screen. Along with the new cabinets, Rockstar has added a singleplayer game mode to Street Wars. This allows players to face off against AI opponents.<\/p>\n

3 <\/span>LJT<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

LJT is perhaps one of the most annoying characters<\/a> in GTA Online. He constantly reminds you of your businesses associated with the motorcycle club whether you want him to or not.<\/p>\n

Getting his calls ruin the experience of running around the city and causing destruction. Luckily, Rockstar has now reduced his calls down to text messages.<\/p>\n

2 <\/span>Wendy<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Wendy was a mystery when she was added to the arcades. She was sometimes glitched<\/a> to remind players that she was a new contact, but never really offered anything special to the\u00a0GTA Online<\/em> experience. She stood behind the counter with no purpose besides to appear in a cutscene or two. Now, she is at least a little useful because she can provide snacks whenever you enter the arcade.<\/p>\n

1 <\/span>Pegasus<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Pegasus was an interesting idea for\u00a0GTA Online<\/em>. They deliver helicopters and boats for you in a timely and far-away manner, with an emphasis on far away. With a lack of spawn locations for the vehicles, players would typically have to travel miles<\/a> just to get to the vehicle they ordered. This was a waste of time and a real annoyance. Rockstar has finally added in some new spawn locations all throughout the map to make it easier for players to get to their vehicles faster.<\/p>\n
