The challenges are time consuming and not every match allows players a fair chance to complete them. <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/call-of-duty-modern-warfare\/\"><em>Modern Warfare<\/em><\/a> fans are sometimes left struggling through each challenge and searching for any shortcut to make the grind less painful.<\/p>\n<p>Out of all <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/call-duty-modern-warfare-warzone-season-5-weapon-tier-list-best-guns\/\">the <em>Modern Warfare <\/em>weapons<\/a> to grind out, the Riot Shield is infamously hard. The defensive item is not normally used to kill enemies and players are left turtling through each match hoping to catch any player off guard for single elimination. That is what made this lobby&#8217;s decision so impactful for a lucky Riot Shield user.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-kawaii-cat-bundle\/\">Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Reveals Kawaii Cat Bundle For Mara and More<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Football_rpg on Reddit posted a clip of a recent hardcore match in which the entire lobby was working towards a single goal. Rather than playing the objective, they were running back to a single spot allowing a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/how-use-riot-shield-dominate-call-of-duty-warzone\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">lucky Riot Shield user<\/a> to gain some extra kills throughout the match. Lining up, they each sacrificed themselves for the Riot Shield and then promptly returned to do it again. After 10 minutes of repeating this process, the game ends with a single tactical nuke from none other than the lucky player.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/modernwarfare\/comments\/ik0yt2\/when_an_entire_lobby_helps_one_lucky_player_hit\/\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Although it seemed unfair to drop a nuke, the Reddit fan clarified in the comments that the game was over anyway. They had spent the entire match working to help this player with the timer running close to the end when the match was nuked. After this encounter, he invited the player into a party chat where <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-riot-shield-kill\/\">the Riot Shield user<\/a> expressed his gratitude to the group.<\/p>\n<p>The player said that he was having a &#8220;terrible night grinding&#8221; and was preparing to quit after that match. Now, thanks to this group&#8217;s dedication to helping, he has almost all the challenges complete except for a few kills while injured. With most of the challenge done, the player gets to return to the game refreshed and ready to earn their Damascus skins.<\/p>\n<p>Fans know that <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/modern-warfare-damascus-grind\/\">the Damascus grind is hard<\/a>, but it is one of the most prestigious achievements in <em>Modern Warfare. <\/em>Fans work tirelessly for hours to try and gain every skin while completing challenges that range from easy to near impossible. The <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/call-duty-modern-warfare-damascus-camo-faster\/\">Close-Combat weapons are usually the hardest<\/a> as they ask players to bring a literal knife into the middle of a large gunfight.
