With the\u00a0Shadowlands<\/em>\u00a0release date just announced, World of Warcraft\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>players are scrambling to\u00a0finish up their goals during\u00a0Battle for Azeroth<\/em>. At the same time, a 100 percent EXP buff<\/a> has been present the last few months to help level up alts before the new expansion arrives in October, but now a bonus reputation buff is returning to help the final push.<\/p>\n

The Impressive Influence buff was previously available from April 20th to May 18th and doubled reputation gains from all sources for\u00a0Legion\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Battle for Azeroth\u00a0<\/em>factions.\u00a0While players enjoyed being able to max out reputations and earn paragon caches more easily,\u00a0they were disappointed to learn the buff wouldn’t be extended like its EXP counterpart. However, Blizzard has decided to bring it back for entire month of September.<\/p>\n

Just like before, the 100 percent bonus still applies to the same\u00a0<\/em>World of Warcraft<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>factions within Legion<\/em>\u00a0and BfA<\/em>. However, the buff now also applies to both factions introduced in 8.3: the Uldum Accord and Rajani. Since the only way to farm reputation with either group is to do weekly assaults, this ends up saving players a lot of time and effort. On the other hand, this will be the best chance for anyone who still hasn’t completed the reputation requirements\u00a0of ‘Battle for Azeroth Pathfinder, Part 1’ and ‘Part 2’ to do so because flying in\u00a0BfA\u00a0<\/em>zones will remain locked\u00a0behind both achievements unlike\u00a0Warlords of Draenor\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Legion\u00a0<\/em>flying.<\/p>\n

In the end, this bonus reputation couldn’t have come at a better time as the majority of players who have nothing to do can take advantage to unlock allied races\u00a0now or earn more\u00a0cosmetics\u00a0and gold\u00a0before stepping into\u00a0Shadowlands<\/em>. But the buff lasting just over 4 weeks also means the pre-patch invasion<\/a> with no current release date may be coming right afterwards.<\/p>\n

World of Warcraft\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>is available on PC.\u00a0World of Warcraft: Shadowlands\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>will release on October 26th\/27th worldwide.<\/p>\n
