In a saddening, but unsurprising announcement earlier this year, the physical Tokyo Game Show was canceled<\/a>. A virtual event was known to still be possible, and was confirmed later on by TGS. Despite being held online, several aspects of the Game Show remain unchanged or only changed slightly.<\/p>\n

The online Tokyo Game Show<\/a> will be held on its own website, which will act as a central hub much like the building that would house the actual show. Various game developers and companies involved with games can be reached via various links from the main website. In this way, interested parties can visit various “booths” at the virtual Game Show.<\/p>\n

The main streaming schedule for major devs and companies has now been released, and the four day streaming schedule is known. The presentations are blocked out in one or two hour long segments, with the first day being the shortest. Only three companies will be speaking on 9\/24: Microsoft Japan, Square Enix, and Lightning Games. The next day, 9\/25, is much more eventful. After a Keynote speech, Sega\/Atlus has a spot, which will most likely involve an announcement about Persona 5 Scramble<\/em>‘s English localization<\/a>.<\/p>\n
