Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s<\/em><\/strong> newest trailer holds some subtle nods to past titles. With Call of Duty’s <\/em>long history, it is not surprising that fans picked up on a very obvious reference.<\/p>\n

With the attention of the camera focused on the flashy gun work, many fans didn’t notice the logo on the operator’s shirt. Although it will most likely not affect the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>plot, it will at least make some fans smile for those who recognize the longstanding reference.<\/p>\n

The shirt was only in a few frames of the RTX Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War <\/em>trailer<\/a>, but around midway through there is a scene where one of the operators is polishing a handgun. On the operator’s shirt sits the revised “Burger Town” logo, and although it isn’t the focus of the action, it is still a nice nod to the Modern Warfare <\/em>franchise<\/a>. Burger Town and Modern <\/em>Warfare <\/em>have had a long history with the logo making an appearance in almost every Infinity Ward title. For many fans, the appearance of this logo in the trailer proves the theory that Modern Warfare <\/em>may be connected to the Black Ops <\/em>universe.<\/p>\n
