Normally, whenever a new character is about to be added to League of Legends<\/em><\/strong>\u2019 impressive roster, there\u2019s at least some official buildup beforehand. That wasn\u2019t the case with League<\/em>\u2019s newest Champion, Samira<\/a>, who suddenly appeared in the game\u2019s Public Beta Environment this weekend. Now that she\u2019s there, though, Riot Games has given fans an official overview of her abilities.<\/p>\n

Known as the Desert Rose, Samira is described as \u201ca boss with a blade and a master of gun fu,\u201d specializing in both melee and ranged attacks. What truly makes her stand out is that her abilities are tied to a character-specific \u201cstyle\u201d system that involves chaining different combos to increase Samira\u2019s style rank from \u201cE\u201d to \u201cS,\u201d which in turn increases her speed with each new rank. Between this and the choice of weapons, Samira is essentially Dante from Devil May Cry<\/em><\/a> re-imagined for League<\/em>.<\/p>\n
