However, many fans have turned the reference\u00a0into a comment about esports player and FaZe Clan member <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-faze-jarvis-ban-why\/\">Jarvis Kaye, who was banned from <em>Fortnite<\/em> for life<\/a> in 2019 after\u00a0using an aimbot during casual matches.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-iron-man-car-leak\/\">Fortnite Leaks Iron Man Car<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>During its height, people talking\u00a0about Jarvis on social media became a cyclical loop of comments asking Epic Games to unban Kaye as others tried to dissuade these notions by reminding everyone the Tweet was referencing an\u00a0A.I., itself based on\u00a0comic character Edwin Jarvis. The Stark family butler also appears in the MCU, portrayed by <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/avengers-endgame-jarvis-actor-james-darcy\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">James D&#8217;Arcy in the TV show <em>Agent Carter<\/em> and in <em>Avengers: Endgame<\/em><\/a> (2019).<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FortniteGame\/status\/1301188136496582660?s=20\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Though the content being added into Epic Games&#8217; battle royale is not related to the MCU directly, being based on its own mostly original conflict between the Avengers and Galactus, the developer\u00a0has included other references to the movie canon. For example, a <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-black-panther-monument-statue\/\">Black Panther monument was added to <em>Fortnite<\/em>&#8216;s map<\/a>\u00a0shortly after news came out about the death of actor Chadwick Boseman.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s unlikely that Epic Games meant to cause a stir by referencing a character who happens to share its name with a streamer that has a contentious\u00a0history with the game, but this kind of viral marketing is no doubt a boon for <em>Fortnite<\/em>.\u00a0Kaye seemed to agree, as he got in on the joke by quote Tweeting <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/fortnite\/\"><em>Fortnite<\/em><\/a>&#8216;s post to say, &#8220;Next time @ me.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/liljarviss\/status\/1301190307883528192?s=20\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Given <em>Fortnite<\/em>&#8216;s Season 4 just began, there&#8217;s a good chance the game\u00a0will continue to garner attention on social media as it adds more content related to popular Marvel Comics characters.
