The antagonist of F.E.A.R.<\/em>,\u00a0Alma Wade, is a little girl set out on revenge against the\u00a0Armacham Technology Corporation.\u00a0As it turns out, she has psychic powers and is able to use them against her foes. Her elusive nature makes her a powerful antagonist.<\/p>\n

4 <\/span>Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas<\/h2>\n

Tactical first-person shooting went a step-up when\u00a0Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas<\/em>\u00a0hit store shelves in 2006. This game was released nearly a decade after\u00a0GoldenEye 007,<\/em>\u00a0but some parallels exist between the two instant-classics.<\/p>\n

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas<\/em>‘ setting made it truly stand out. Also, a phenomenal online multiplayer mode made this a hit. Had GoldenEye 007<\/em> contained an online multiplayer mode, it would have had immense replay value. GoldenEye 007<\/em>‘s local multiplayer<\/a> needs remake treatment.<\/p>\n

Nintendo GameCube’s Metroid Prime<\/em><\/a>\u00a0was a knockout first-person shooter when it was released, and it remains relevant today.\u00a0GoldenEye 007<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Metroid Prime<\/em>\u00a0differ in the sense that\u00a0Metroid<\/em>\u00a0has more puzzle-solving and exploration.<\/a><\/p>\n

It’s tough to say which game is better. GoldenEye 007<\/em>\u00a0does have more memorable weapons like the Golden Gun, RC-P90, and KF7 Soviet, yet Metroid Prime<\/em> is unique on so many levels. It’s best to say they are both masterpieces that dominated an era and leave it at that.<\/p>\n

2 <\/span>James Bond 007: Agent Under Fire<\/h2>\n

The best James Bond game is GoldenEye 007<\/em>\u2014and it’s not even close. Although games like\u00a0James Bond 007: Agent Under Fire<\/em> had more advanced gameplay mechanics, they fell short in other respects. According to screenrant.com,<\/a> “Where\u00a0Agent Under Fire<\/em>\u00a0really shines, however, is in its four-player split-screen mode.”<\/p>\n

Agent Under Fire<\/em> has improved environment textures and character models, but the rate of enemy fire in the campaign was a step off. You are continually being shot, yet your player lives on. Aside from a few frustrating flaws,\u00a0James Bond 007: Agent Under Fire<\/em> is an otherwise excellent James Bond game.<\/p>\n

1 <\/span>Perfect Dark<\/h2>\n

Everything that\u00a0GoldenEye 007<\/em>\u00a0pioneered was made obsolete when\u00a0Perfect Dark<\/em>\u00a0released.\u00a0Perfect Dark<\/em>\u00a0expanded on the multiplayer, adding a Counter Operative mode in which players could play two-player split-screen.<\/p>\n

You can love the games for either their weapon variety or polish.\u00a0Perfect Dark<\/em>\u00a0featured a\u00a0strong female protagonist<\/a>\u00a0named Joanna Dark. With a high degree of similarity to\u00a0GoldenEye 007<\/em>, this game is a must-play for fans of the first-person shooter classic.<\/a><\/p>\n
