Jon Favreau’s upcoming fantasy adventure virtual reality game,\u00a0Gnomes and Goblins<\/strong><\/em> received a new trailer recently giving fans some insight on what to expect from the title. The trailer didn’t show too much that the playable demo<\/a> didn’t, but it does serve as a good way to introduce those that hadn’t seen anything about the game yet. It\u00a0also seems to support that the game’s planned release date of September 23rd will end up pulling through.<\/p>\n

Most probably already know the name Jon Favreau, but that isn’t due to an association with video games or virtual reality. Favreau’s claim to fame is his part as a Producer, Director, and Actor in various MCU and Disney films<\/a>.\u00a0Gnomes and Goblins\u00a0<\/em>started out as a quiet project despite having such a big name attached to it, and went several years without much news or progress being made, prompting many to believe the project may have been scrapped until recently.<\/p>\n

Though it may seem strange for Favreau to be working on a virtual reality game, he actually has extensive experience with the technology. As director of the live action remake of\u00a0Lion King<\/em>, Favreau used virtual reality technology frequently<\/a> when planning out scenes and designing landscapes.<\/p>\n
