One doesn\u2019t have to look at Fall Guys<\/em><\/strong> long to see the inspiration Mediatonic\u2019s wacky battle royale took from Japanese games shows in the vein of Takeshi\u2019s Castle<\/em>, where watching people fumble through colorful obstacle courses is all of the fun. That being said, a few professionals have given fans an idea of what Fall Guys<\/em><\/a> could look like if it also took inspiration from a more popular form of Japanese media, like anime.<\/p>\n

As weird as it may seem at first blush, the idea isn\u2019t all that far-fetched. Like many popular anime series like Dragon Ball Z<\/em>, Naruto<\/em>, My Hero Academia<\/em>, and One Punch Man<\/em>, Fall Guys<\/em> also thrives on action that is both hectic and vibrant. As they run around and over each other in pursuit of victory, Fall Guys<\/em>\u2019 players frequently experience tragic losses<\/a>, glorious victories, and heartstopping close calls that wouldn\u2019t feel out of place in a typical action anime. It also helps that\u00a0the game also\u00a0isn\u2019t afraid to embrace its absurdity.<\/p>\n

Perhaps it was for these reasons that voice actor Max Mittelman (who fans may know as Persona 5<\/em>\u2019s Ryuji or Final Fantasy 7 Remake<\/em>\u2019s Red XIII<\/a>) joked about Fall Guys<\/em> becoming an anime on Twitter late last month. The response from followers and fans of the game led him to even tag the official Fall Guys<\/em> Twitter account in a reply, simply stating, \u201cI think we have something here.\u201d<\/p>\n

Less than two weeks later, that something has become an animated video that Mittelman produced with fellow voice actors Ray Chase, Robbie Daymond, and Russel Baclig, who handled the artwork and visual effects. All four lend their vocal talents to telling the story of a trio of default skin-wearing Fall Guys as they take part in a full-on anime battle to overcome the hotdog-costumed griefer standing between them and Slimb Climb\u2019s goal<\/a>.<\/p>\n
