Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0has retained its audience for over a year thanks to the implementation of new content like weapons, maps, and game modes. One recent example is the Games of Summer trials that let players go for the gold<\/a>\u00a0through tests of parkour, marksmanship, and more. However,\u00a0players have also figured out ways to make their own fun in the first-person shooter.<\/p>\n

A Reddit user named Matikata uploaded a video of themselves and a few friends taking part in a virtual “Fight Club” to r\/modernwarfare Saturday, which they say went on for seven rounds and eventually pulled in every member of both teams. They gathered in the square underneath a tower on the Khandor Hideout map added to Modern Warfare<\/em> this March<\/a>, and the\u00a0Hardcore Cyber Attack mode made each player knock out their opponents in one punch.<\/p>\n

Matikata said in the comments that their group of friends\u00a0tries to play a game like this at least once a week, and it\u00a0can often be easy to “throw it out there and see who responds.” They also talk about other player-driven\u00a0games they have enjoyed\u00a0within Modern Warfare<\/em><\/a>, such as rounds on Rust using only Riot Shields and knives.<\/p>\n
