While some\u00a0cause balancing issues or instability, like problems with abilities for the newest Legend Rampart; others are aesthetic, like an <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/apex-legends-octane-infinite-stim-bug\/\">infinite stim bug discovered for Octane<\/a>. One amusing glitch for Mirage pointed out today is more in the latter category.<\/p>\n<p>Reddit user Life_exe101 uploaded a video to the r\/apexlegends subreddit that depicts one of Mirage&#8217;s decoys flying thanks to an alternating pattern of jumps while taking control of the decoy. This maneuver, reminiscent of Samus&#8217; bomb jumping in <em>Metroid<\/em> games, offers seemingly no gameplay benefit and is likely hard to pull off while under fire from other players, but at the very least it is kind of fun watching\u00a0the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/Apex-Legends\/\"><em>Apex Legends<\/em><\/a> character run in the air before plummeting.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/apex-legends-bug-rampart-ultimate-overpowered\/\">New Apex Legends Bug Makes Rampart&#8217;s Ultimate Overpowered<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>According to another user named Kavvadius in the comments of Life_exe101&#8217;s Reddit post, this has been possible since Mirage&#8217;s abilities were overhauled through a rework released by Respawn Entertainment in May. Considering it doesn&#8217;t really hurt anyone, it makes sense for the developers to have their time focused on other adjustments to <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/apex-legends-racial-slur-update\/\"><em>Apex Legends,<\/em> like removing a racially-charged insult<\/a> from the dialogue of Caustic.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/apexlegends\/comments\/iogn1j\/interesting_mirage_bug\/?utm_source=share&#038;utm_medium=web2x&#038;context=3\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Major adjustments\u00a0since the start of Season 6 have been directed at Rampart, who headlines the new content. A patch was released in late August <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/apex-legends-update-season-6-rampart-bugs\/\">fixing issues with\u00a0<em>Apex Legends<\/em>&#8216; Season 6<\/a>\u00a0like Rampart&#8217;s Amped Wall\u00a0ability causing players to disconnect from servers or break other character models so they appear to have &#8220;stretched necks.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Ensuring a massively popular game like <em>Apex Legends<\/em> is properly balanced and bug free is important to keep everyday players happy, but it also plays a part in helping Respawn Entertainment&#8217;s game gain prominence as an Esport. The next official\u00a0competitive circuit for <em>Apex Legends<\/em> begins October 3, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/apex-legends-autumn-circuit-prizes\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Apex Legends<\/em> Autumn Circuit will offer teams\u00a0$500,000<\/a> for winning its\u00a0three-month series.<\/p>\n<p>As funny as it would be to see a flying Mirage decoy appear in a major competitive match, the glitch&#8217;s lack of any real practicality or impact likely means it will remain a simple parlor trick to entertain Mirage players.
