Every\u00a0Dragon Ball<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>fan\u00a0has\u00a0had more than enough time to get acquainted with\u00a0Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2<\/em><\/a>. Nearly 4 years\u00a0since its 2016 release,\u00a0Xenoverse 2\u00a0<\/em>is still rolling out new content, with its most recent DLC adding the Supreme Kai of Time as a playable character<\/a> (among other things), enabling players to take control of one of\u00a0Dragon Ball<\/em>‘s most underrated deities.<\/p>\n

At this rate, it doesn’t seem like a\u00a0Xenoverse 3<\/em> will be coming anytime soon since\u00a0Xenoverse 2<\/em>‘s developers still have a lot under their sleeves to keep the gameplay fresh. While many players remain vocal of their approval with much of the game’s DLC, plenty\u00a0are left wondering why some of their favorite characters haven’t yet been added as DLC yet.<\/p>\n

10 <\/span>Frieza’s Second\/Third Forms<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Dragon Ball Xenoverse\u00a0<\/em>comes up with creative solutions to avoid having characters with many transformations\u2013 like Frieza, Cell, and Buu\u2013 showcase them all in the game. Not only does this speed up the storytelling, but it makes things\u00a0much easier for the developers who don’t have to build new models, combos, and\u00a0ultimates from scratch. Unfortunately, a villain as metamorphic as Frieza doesn’t\u00a0utilize his Second or Third\u00a0Forms in the game at all.<\/p>\n

Including his\u00a0missing two forms in the game would be a special treat to longtime fans. Second Form Frieza’s Death Storm technique would be perfect for clearing the area of multiple opponents, especially during Raid Quests, while Third Form Frieza’s Crazy Finger Beam would be just downright fun to use on an unsuspecting victim.<\/p>\n

9 <\/span>Semi-Perfect Cell<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Much like Frieza’s Second and Third Forms, Cell’s Semi-Perfect Form was skipped in\u00a0Xenoverse 2<\/em>\u00a0since he absorbed Androids 17 and 18 at the same time in the game. When\u00a0Xenoverse 2<\/em> added Imperfect Cell to its roster, fans were excited\u00a0to see Cell in his first form. Unlike Perfect Cell, he could drain the lifeforce from his foes with his tail, and although he isn’t the same combat powerhouse that Perfect Cell is, he still added something to the game. Semi-Perfect Cell\u00a0could be the best of both worlds.<\/p>\n

He can not only drain the life-force of his foes with his tail, but his Big Bang Crash would make him a formidable opponent in\u00a0the field as well. Players would also take advantage of his ability to self-destruct. Semi-Perfect Cell could easily become an all-around fun character to use\u00a0that’s suitable for casual and serious players alike.<\/p>\n

8 <\/span>Shin<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

While the most recent\u00a0Xenoverse 2<\/em> DLC proves that the Supreme Kai of Time is stronger than she looks, fans have almost entirely forgotten about Shin, the first\u00a0Kaioshin they were introduced to in the series. Given how low on the totem pole he is on the\u00a0universal hierarchy, players often forget just how powerful\u00a0of a fighter he is.<\/p>\n

Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>showed just how creative his combos could be: he uses a block of Katchin, one of the hardest metals in the\u00a0Dragon Ball\u00a0<\/em>universe, as a weapon! Of course, his divine powers would only add to the character roster, giving players a truly unique character to take control of.<\/p>\n

7 <\/span>Master Roshi<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

While Master Roshi took a backseat during most of\u00a0Dragon Ball Z<\/em>, fans saw him step up to the plate in\u00a0Dragon Ball Super<\/em>, especially during the Tournament of Power. His techniques, like the Mafuba and Thunder Shock Surprise, are some of the most unique\u00a0& practical in the entire franchise, which is why\u00a0Xenoverse 2\u00a0<\/em>even has\u00a0a version of his Thunder Shock Surprise already available for custom characters under the name “Turtle Style Last Resort”.<\/p>\n

After showcasing an Ultra Instinct-like technique in the manga, he could even come equipped with a skill like “Data Input”, enabling him to avoid many physical attacks for a short period of time, giving players an incentive to pick a human\u00a0character\u00a0over one of the many overpowered extraterrestrials that already\u00a0dominate\u00a0Xenoverse 2<\/em>‘s roster. FighterZ\u00a0<\/em>is already ahead of the game, adding Roshi to their roster sometime in the near future.<\/a><\/p>\n

6 <\/span>Hatchiyack<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2\u00a0<\/em>placed a big emphasis on\u00a0including more movie villains<\/a>.\u00a0Powerful characters like Turles, Lord Slug, and Janemba came with the quirks that made\u00a0each of them such formidable opponents in their brief appearances. Turles was\u00a0able to eat his signature\u00a0fruit from the Tree of Might in order to\u00a0gain a boost in stats mid-fight,\u00a0while Janemba\u00a0could distort dimensions in order to avoid and deflect attacks.<\/p>\n

It’s\u00a0hard to believe\u00a0that\u00a0Hatchiyack\u00a0was never\u00a0added as DLC.\u00a0Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans, <\/em>his one and only appearance,\u00a0was not only remade with updated artwork, but showcased just how fierce Hatchiyack was since he managed to hold off four Super Saiyans and a Super Namekian\u2013 a feat that hasn’t been seen since Broly first pulled it off back in 1993.<\/p>\n

5 <\/span>Android 21 (Transformed)<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Android 21 is already a playable character in\u00a0Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2<\/em>, and while she is fun to play as,\u00a0most fans would’ve preferred\u00a0her Transformed state. Not only would she be able to use her own Candy Beam, but her Transformed state beats her base in every category.<\/p>\n

She’s faster, her attacks are more destructive, and her design is one of the most\u00a0interesting in the series to date. It’ll always be a mystery why this wasn’t the form of Android 21 that was included as DLC in the first place.<\/p>\n

4 <\/span>Toppo<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

The Tournament of Power introduced a multitude of characters to the franchise that changed it for the better, with one of them being Toppo, the second strongest mortal in Universe 11. His\u00a0unconventional style of fighting (which stresses grapples\u00a0& firm holds) and durable body would make him a challenge to not only fight, but play with as well. Not to mention the fact that his God of Destruction transformation would\u00a0generate renewed interest in the game for fans\u00a0who had discarded it for the past few years.<\/p>\n

At the least, Toppo in his base form\u00a0should’ve been added alongside Jiren, but unfortunately Jiren remains the only Universe 11 warrior to join\u00a0Xenoverse 2<\/em>‘s ever-expanding roster.<\/p>\n

3 <\/span>Dyspo<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Compared to Toppo and Jiren, Dyspo wasn’t anything to write home about, although most fans can appreciate the beatdown he gave Frieza in\u00a0Dragon Ball Super<\/em>. Being that he’s actually one of the fastest (if not the fastest)\u00a0mortals in the multiverse, he can definitely become what Burter failed to be.<\/p>\n

Developers could enable him to fly faster than other characters, and perhaps he\u00a0could use less stamina in his Super Maximum Light Speed Mode when performing Z-Vanishes. Players would have\u00a0hours of fun running circles around their opponents.<\/p>\n

2 <\/span>Super Full Power Jiren<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Ultra Instinct\u00a0Sign isn’t in\u00a0Xenoverse 2<\/em>; the developers jumped right ahead to Mastered Ultra Instinct Goku, giving players one of the most overpowered characters in\u00a0the game.\u00a0Given that, it doesn’t make sense why there was never an update for Jiren at his max power, since\u00a0it was\u00a0he who pushed Goku to this state in the first place.<\/p>\n

Many fans are waiting for the day they can reenact\u00a0Super<\/em>‘s biggest battle without using mods<\/a>.<\/p>\n

1 <\/span>Sidra (Or Any Other God Of Destruction)<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

So far, Beerus and Champa are the only Gods of Destruction that players can take control of in\u00a0Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2<\/em>, and while both characters are fun to play with,\u00a0Dragon Ball Super<\/em>‘s Tournament of Power introduced\u00a0many other Gods of Destruction, all with their own unique techniques and fighting styles. Many fans would love to have the opportunity to play as any one of them.<\/p>\n

Sidra is the first that comes to mind, since he’s one of the weaker Gods of Destruction; realistically, Golden Frieza or a Super Saiyan Blue could give him a run for his money. To prevent\u00a0Xenoverse 2\u00a0<\/em>from straying too far into the realm of unbelievability than it already has, Sidra (or another lower-class God of Destruction) would be a\u00a0sensible addition to the game’s roster.<\/p>\n
