Players always want to try new guns, new tactics, and new ways to play. According to reliable <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/call-of-duty-modern-warfare\/\"><em>Modern Warfare<\/em><\/a> dataminer BKTOOR, there seems to be a new assault rifle on its way to the game, and many fans are already thinking of new tactics to try out with this addition.<\/p>\n<p>While the next entry in the <em>Call of Duty<\/em> franchise is just around the corner, there is still plenty of life in the current game. <em>Modern Warfare<\/em> is as popular as ever and is still bringing out tons of new content and updates. The rumors of an <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/call-of-duty-warzone-night-mode\/\">upcoming night mode for <em>Warzone<\/em><\/a> show that the game is far from dying out. While the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-r7000-sniper-rifle\/\">previous weapon was a returning sniper rifle<\/a>, it seems this gun is all new. Since it is incomplete in the game files, there aren\u2019t many effects and sounds to the gun at the moment. Many fans have already compared its appearance to the AN and its handling looks similar to the Vector.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BKTOOR_\/status\/1302681131196780544\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>While a new assault rifle is very exciting, many gamers have proven lately that they don\u2019t always need good guns to win matches. Some gamers use\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/call-of-duty-warzone-epic-helicopter-drone-kill\/\">drones to take out helicopters<\/a>\u00a0or run entire matches using only melee, and\u00a0C4 is one of the most popular tools in the game. That being said, a new weapon of any type will surely take the spotlight as soon as it releases.<\/p>\n<p>While there is no guarantee the gun makes an appearance in Season 6 content, it looks to already be a hit with many fans. <em>Modern Warfare<\/em> seems to be going very strong, having\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-sells-30-million-units-says-nvidia\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">passed a huge sales milestone<\/a> with no intent on stopping. It will be interesting to see what sorts of updates the game gets after the new <em>Black Ops<\/em> releases this Fall. Hopefully, for those that will end up preferring the current game, there will still be plenty of new weapons and updates to keep\u00a0it alive.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, new content being added to the game always runs the risk of new bugs and glitches popping up. While Infinity Ward was quick to <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/call-of-duty-warzone-vehicles-removed\/\">act against the game-breaking vehicle glitch<\/a>, the number of glitches in the game has been a negative staple since its release.
