From IAmSpoon and BlessRNG to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/twitch-zero-ban\/\">ZeRo<\/a> and Warwitch, the bans have been numerous and swift, seeing Twitch addressing the horrific allegations head-on and\u00a0removing the names from its roster.<\/p>\n<p>The latest in these bans came yesterday, with <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/twitch\/\">Twitch<\/a> finally\u00a0removing\u00a0<strong>Cryaotic<\/strong> after he was accused of grooming young fans back in June\u00a0of this year. Along with his channel no longer being available, Cryaotic&#8217;s partnership with the seminal streaming brand has been terminated, well and truly signaling that he no longer has a home with the platform.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/darksydephil-and-other-notorious-twitch-bans\/\">DarkSydePhil &amp; 9 Other Notorious Twitch Streamer Bans<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>For those who aren&#8217;t aware of <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/twitch-streamers-accused-assault-abuse\/\">Cryaotic&#8217;s allegations<\/a>, numerous young women came forward to accuse the streamer of attempting to solicit sexual relationships with them despite being underage. The streamer eventually came forward to address the allegations, confirming they were authentic\u00a0by stating he &#8220;cheated on [his] girlfriend with people who [he] didn\u2019t realize were even underage in the first place.&#8221; He then tried to double back on the statement in the response video&#8217;s description, claiming he &#8220;was never with anyone underage on a physical level.&#8221; The response was rejected entirely by his former-fans, who called out the streamer for his actions in the comment section.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/StreamerBans\/status\/1303848189045477379\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>With Cryaotic assembling a pretty strong community of over 2 million fans on YouTube and 800,000 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/vince-mcmahon-ban-wwe-wrestlers-twitch-streaming\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Twitch followers<\/a>, the streamer&#8217;s actions have disappointed many who once idolized the on-screen personality. With his\u00a0streaming career over, it seems likely that\u00a0Cryaotic&#8217;s\u00a0days in the limelight are truly done. Although Twitch took a long time to go ahead with the ban, it&#8217;s good to see the company finally acknowledge the allegations and remove the streamer from the service, especially as many have been calling for the decision for some time now.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside Cryaotic, Twitch has been pressing harder on its bans as of late, taking big names like ZeRo and DarkSydePhil off the site with little notice or fanfare. While that&#8217;s largely for the better\u00a0&#8211; with Twitch appropriately dealing its worst punishment in the face of significant\u00a0allegations\u00a0and scandals\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0it has led to a few controversies for the company. Namely, <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/dr-disrespect-anxiety-twitch-ban\/\">Dr DisRespect&#8217;s ban<\/a> back in June this year, with the company still not coming out and revealing the\u00a0context behind\u00a0the punishment.
