10 <\/span>Repetitive And Extended Boss Fights<\/h2>\n

The previous title can give you plenty of opportunities to feel like Spidey, but this charm wears off soon enough when you\u2019ve got nothing to do. The next game has to avoid long bouts of lethargy in playthrough and bring stuff to do around the city.<\/p>\n

One of the reasons why Spider-Man 2 is debated to be better than\u00a0Spider-Man <\/a>PS4 <\/a>is because the former Peter Parker is consistent in his character.\u00a0The PS4 version\u00a0personality is a little uneven as he suddenly turns on the jokes but then becomes rather mellow without warning. The good thing with Miles Morales is that his personality is consistent, being curious, and determined.<\/p>\n

The follow-up game has to overcome the previous one\u2019s insistence toward presenting the protagonist with a lot of personality traits. Miles Morales\u2019 characterization has been set, meaning he doesn\u2019t need to be too funny when that\u2019s not how he\u2019s supposed to be.<\/p>\n

In order to stand out from other superhero games, Miles Morales<\/em> should present the protagonist with his own fighting style. This is because he needs to have his own identity rather than seem like a rehash of the Peter Parker Spider-Man.<\/p>\n

Along with that, the game needs to overcome the lack of fight options the previous one had. Spider-Man PS4\u2019s combat issues spring up due to basically the same moves being needed. Combos are largely useless, with spamming buttons a much more favorable way to fight. Miles Morales <\/em>will get lost instantly if it has the same combat mechanics.<\/p>\n

5 <\/span>Costumes With No Substance<\/h2>\n

If it wants to rank among the best <\/a>Spider-Man<\/a> games of all-time<\/a>, then Miles Morales<\/em> can\u2019t afford to tout Spidey suits and fail to deliver on them like the previous title. Sure, the game had a lot of these costumes, but they were pretty much fluff in execution as you can finish the game without needing even one of these.<\/p>\n

If Miles Morales<\/em> stresses how important these alternate costumes are, then they have to be applied within the main storyline as well. Earning them shouldn\u2019t follow Spider-Man PS4\u2019s tedious requirement of collecting trinkets either.<\/p>\n

4 <\/span>The Main Character Being Adapted To His Powers Instantly<\/h2>\n

One of the reasons why fans want Miles Morales to be the main protagonist over Peter Parker <\/a>is for the chance to play as a superhero who\u2019s learning about his powers. This will be a fresh take on things, as players can test Miles\u2019 abilities from the ground up.<\/p>\n

The game shouldn\u2019t go the route of Spider-Man PS4, where Peter is already well versed with his powers and knows all his enemies. It takes away from the idea of playing as a superhero if everything\u2019s already sorted out. With Miles being so young, he needs to be presented as a novice.<\/p>\n

3 <\/span>Waste Time Setting Up Spin-Offs<\/h2>\n

There are so many hooks for spin-offs in <\/a>Spider-Man <\/a>PS4<\/a> that it\u2019s natural people came up with their own wish lists over which character they want to see next. This mistake cost the game some of its replay value, as it\u2019s not engaging to play as a side character when you know what\u2019s about to happen.<\/p>\n

2 <\/span>Excessive Stealth Missions<\/h2>\n

If there\u2019s one way to guarantee a total drop in the pacing of a game, it\u2019s by putting in stealth missions right after heavy action sequences. Spider-Man PS4 unfortunately does indulge in these, which is far from the most fun players had with the game.<\/p>\n

Miles Morales<\/em> needs to learn from this drawback, and this can be done by using the stealth mission sparingly and only through Miles. This can have him use his web-slinging for discreet use, thereby combining his Spider-Man powers with his stealth skillset.<\/p>\n

1 <\/span>Presenting Awful Puzzles Sequences<\/h2>\n

In this case, the only way to fix the mistake is through total omission. Spider-Man PS4 tended to totally kill the momentum by bringing puzzle sequences in the middle of missions. These are extremely boring and contribute nothing to the plot or gameplay.<\/p>\n

Miles Morales<\/em> should be a game that celebrates the best of Spider-Man, not random puzzles that prove nothing to the main character\u2019s growth. Not to mention that Miles isn\u2019t like Peter, meaning he shouldn\u2019t be getting into puzzle-solving as it would be too much of the same.<\/p>\n
