It\u2019s a neat little nod to the series that\u2019s become synonymous with the Xbox brand, but there is room for Microsoft to extend that to the outside of the console, as one fan mockup shows.<\/p>\n<p>Fans have been having a field day with the official look of the long-rumored budget console. Many have poked fun at the Series S\u2019 design with all sorts of memes, but others have been using it as the canvas for a new wave of custom designs. One of the most prolific among them is graphic artist XboxPope, who recently <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/xbox-series-s-cyberpunk-2077-xbox-pope\/\">shared their concept for a <em>Cyberpunk 2077<\/em>-themed Xbox Series S<\/a>. And now they\u2019ve turned their attention to <em>Halo<\/em> with their latest game-themed concept.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/xbox-series-x-tony-hawks-pro-skater-fan-design-console\/\">Fan Designs Amazing Xbox Series X Tony Hawk&#8217;s Pro Skater Concept Console<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Right away, it\u2019s a huge departure from the standard design. Instead of the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/xbox-series-s\/\">Xbox Series S<\/a>\u2019 clean light-grey body and black accents, XboxPope gives fans a console and controller modeled after Master Chief himself, sporting a metallic green and grey pattern based off his iconic MJOLNIR armor, complete with stylishly-placed accents like Chief\u2019s callsign number, 117, and the UNSC logo.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/XboxPope\/status\/1304091970592272386\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>This isn\u2019t the first time XboxPope has dipped their toes in both <em>Halo<\/em> and next-gen consoles recently. Back in May, they also released a fan design for a <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/halo-infinite-special-edition-xbox-series-x\/\"><em>Halo<\/em>-themed Xbox Series X<\/a>, which also sported a Master Chief theme. Both this and their Series S concept could easily pass as actual products.<\/p>\n<p>It wouldn\u2019t be all too surprising to see the Xbox Series get official <em>Halo<\/em>-themed models down the line, though Microsoft has yet to touch upon the topic of custom designs for its next-gen consoles. With <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/halo-infinite-xbox-one-reconfirmed\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Halo Infinite<\/em> being delayed to 2021<\/a>, however, Microsoft could conceivably mark next year\u2019s launch with <em>Halo<\/em>-themed consoles releasing alongside the game. While that\u2019s just hypothetical, it could potentially help smooth things over with fans who are frustrated that the Xbox Series\u2019 biggest headliner won\u2019t be launching alongside the Series S and Series X in November.<\/p>\n<p>Despite that, there\u2019ll be <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/xbox-series-x-launch-titles-list\/\">plenty of major games launching on or around the Xbox Series\u2019 launch day<\/a>, including <em>Cyberpunk 2077<\/em>, <em>Assassin\u2019s Creed Valhalla<\/em>, <em>Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War<\/em>, and <em>Destiny 2: Beyond Light<\/em>, to name a few.
