In fact, 2015&#8217;s <strong><em>Fallout 4<\/em><\/strong> is considered the seventh <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-most-played-game-ever\/\">most-played video game ever made<\/a>\u00a0according to a report by UK retailer GAME, with players collectively logging over 115,000 years. However, Bethesda is also known for releasing games full of quirks and bugs, which had an unfortunate effect on speedrunner Jabo.<\/p>\n<p>The runner\u00a0has\u00a0a YouTube channel and regularly streams on Twitch, where he was recently completing a no-death survival run of <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/fallout-4\/\"><em>Fallout 4<\/em><\/a>. Jabo was approximately 36 hours into the save file, including loading screens, when he appeared to die for no reason. However, as a player named ShiguruiX on the r\/LivestreamFail subreddit points out, he actually succumbed to a known glitch where sprinting\u00a0into a car\u00a0causes the same damage as the car &#8220;smashing into you.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fallout-4-weapons-ranked\/\">15 Most Powerful Weapons In Fallout 4, Ranked<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Jabo is not the only player\u00a0to ever suffer a huge loss so far into a\u00a0game with unique challenges, as seen by examples like Twitch streamer SpecsNStats <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/zelda-breath-of-the-wild-no-damage-speedrun-failed-39-hours-specsnstats\/\">losing a damageless <em>Breath of the Wild<\/em> run 39 hours in<\/a>. The seeming randomness of a buggy Bethesda game causing such a loss is as entertaining as it is painful, however, leading to the clip taken by viewer lawlington becoming the most popular on Jabo&#8217;s Twitch account with over 29,000 views as of this writing.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/LivestreamFail\/comments\/irejxw\/jabos_no_death_fallout_4_survival_run_dies_36\/?utm_source=share&#038;utm_medium=web2x&#038;context=3\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The British streamer\u00a0has a lot of experience with <em>Fallout 4<\/em>, currently holding record runs like third place in the Any% category, fourth place in the Glitchless (Standard) category, and second place in the All Story DLC category on speedrun.com. He also has upper-echelon runs on <em>Fallout 3<\/em>, <em>Fallout: New Vegas<\/em>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/outer-worlds-peril-gorgon-dlc-launch-when\/\"><em>The Outer Worlds<\/em> \u2014 which just released its Peril on Gorgon DLC<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As much as people have lauded games in Bethesda&#8217;s <em>Fallout<\/em> and <em>Elder Scrolls<\/em> series, they are almost universally criticized for being unpolished, resulting in unfair bugs and glitches. The MMORPG <em>Fallout 76<\/em> was particularly reviled upon release, though its developers have put in work to improve the game, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/fallout-76-season-2-armor-ace-power-patrol\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Fallout 76<\/em> Season 2 update is set to release September 15<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Despite these faults, the amount of time people like Jabo have poured into these games is a testament to their appeal.
