Tyler “Ninja” Blevins is\u00a0arguably the most famous video game streamer in the world, having achieved significant mainstream success and recognition. With film roles, television appearances, and more on top of his mega-popular video game streams, it’s no secret that Ninja has made millions<\/a> in his career so far. But making big money also comes with paying a lot in taxes, and there’s something in particular about taxation that the popular streamer has taken issue with.<\/p>\n

In one of his recent Twitch<\/a> streams, Ninja talked about having to pay about half of his income in taxes. Ninja gave the example of someone who made $50 million in a year, and how about $25 million of that would immediately be gone in taxes. While Ninja said “it blows” for that to happen, some have misrepresented what exactly he said. Ninja isn’t necessarily complaining about the amount he pays in taxes, but that there are billionaires and corporations that get by with paying\u00a0less<\/em> than he has to pay.<\/p>\n

“Let me tell you what the issue is. I think we have to find the people who are billionaires and the millionaires, and the companies that are illegally not paying taxes or hiding\/evading taxes,” Ninja said in his stream. While Ninja<\/a> may or may not be unhappy with how much he has to pay in taxes, it’s clear that the streamer takes issue with the fact that there are those out there that cheat the system and avoid paying their fair share of taxes.<\/p>\n
