Insomniac also touched a little more on the conflict taking place in the game, and in doing so, may have possibly revealed what fans can expect out of its conclusion.<\/p>\n<p>Insomniac Games&#8217; Creative Director Brian Horton made the reveal during September&#8217;s PlayStation 5 showcase event. <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/spider-man-miles-morales-gameplay-ps5\/\"><em>Spider-Man: Miles Morales<\/em> received a new gameplay-demo trailer<\/a> here, and while providing context for what was happening in the trailer, Horton revealed that the Tinkerer would be <em>Spider-Man: Miles Morales<\/em>&#8216; supervillain.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/ps5-price-release-date\/\">PS5 Price and Release Date Finally Announced<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>In the past, Horton discussed <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/spider-man-miles-morales-setting\/\"><em>Spider-Man: Miles Morales<\/em>&#8216; story<\/a> in an interview with the PlayStation Blog, where he revealed that the game would revolve around Miles finding himself in the middle of a war between an energy corporation and a high-tech criminal army. During the showcase, Horton revealed the names of these two factions. The energy corporation is called &#8220;Roxxon,&#8221; and the high-tech criminal army is called &#8220;The Underground.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"480\" height=\"270\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/T03PxxuCfDA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The Tinkerer is the Underground&#8217;s leader, and in <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/spider-man-miles-morales\/\"><em>Spider-Man: Miles Morales<\/em><\/a>, one of his goals is to steal an experimental energy source from Roxxon called New Form. The demo trailer revolves around the Underground assaulting Roxxon on the Broadway bridge over this energy, and Miles trying to save as many people he can from the resulting devastation.<\/p>\n<p>The conflict between the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/spider-man-miles-morales-gameplay-ps5-showcase\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tinkerer and Roxxon<\/a> comes straight out of the comics from Marvel&#8217;s Ultimate universe.
