The\u00a0writers do a great job of creating a sense of urgency and importance for the main story.\u00a0Stellar voice acting performances from industry veterans like Troy Baker and Nolan North\u00a0await but are often unknowingly skipped.<\/p>\n

The whole team is available for conversation in\u00a0different parts of the outpost even when they haven’t gathered around in the central hub. There are\u00a0many unique dialogues that are time-sensitive to the story. Finding these wandering heroes might seem like a hassle, but the payoff is a rich and immersive story.<\/p>\n

No matter what looter game is being discussed, increasing the chance of getting the best equipment in the game<\/a> is critical. And Marvel’s Avengers<\/em> has a very tricky mechanic for how often these top-tier items drop.<\/p>\n

Keep an eye on those stars\u00a0during\u00a0the missions. If the team\u00a0doesn’t go down, the objectives are met, and the enemies bite the dust, a well-earned five-star rating lies in wait. But undisclosed to the player is an increased chance of a legendary item drop with a five-star mission grade. Rares and epics are great, but there’s nothing quite like a best in slot item for your hard work.<\/p>\n

One dozen inventory slots\u00a0are borderline criminal in a game with frequent loot drops. 7 <\/span>Get\u00a0Extra DNA Keys<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

DNA Keys for chests are an integral part of advancement. With such a low drop rate, the average gamer might\u00a0believe a lack of them\u00a0is unavoidable bad luck.<\/p>\n

But they\u00a0can be found in\u00a0ways that aren’t random at all. Mechanical drones and minions, as one might expect, are not exactly hoarding these highly coveted prizes. Humanoid enemies have a much higher likelihood of dropping them.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Bosses in Villain Sectors are clutching DNA Keys, and once per day per faction, the player can select these missions. Make these missions a priority when\u00a0starting a\u00a0session!<\/p>\n

6 <\/span>Permanently Increase Base Stats<\/h2>\n

In a game like Fallout 76<\/em><\/a> or The Outer Worlds<\/em>, dead ends are often filled with a handful of currency, maybe a couple of insignificant items, and a good deal of trash. Marvel’s Avengers<\/em> has invented a rather sneaky way to\u00a0make improvements<\/a> that is skewed toward completionists.<\/p>\n

The Comic Books are not just a collectible side quest, each one increases a base statistic. So exploring dead ends is much more profitable.<\/p>\n

And remember\u00a0that Comic Books can also be received from completing each character’s Harm Training, including a few that are impossible to find randomly outside of these challenges.<\/p>\n

5 <\/span>Visit Old Outposts<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Players have been impressed that each location and each base has its own unique feel and artwork. The designers put so much love into each area to make them feel like they are a part of the environment, just as much as the level is. While the Chimera is beautifully crafted, there’s a sense of sadness when the mission progresses past the Utah Badlands or the Pacific Northwest.<\/p>\n

There’s a way to make this\u00a0feeling of loss completely unnecessary.\u00a0When hovering over the card in the Avengers Initiative War Zones,\u00a0holding the square button will pack up the band of heroes and move them to these previous areas until completing another mission.<\/p>\n

4 <\/span>Kill The\u00a0Fastest Enemies First<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

MMO players are all too familiar with the way\u00a0the average mob of enemies works. But there is a fundamentally different element at play than a traditional World of Warcraft<\/em> mob. There are enemies in this game who teleport and fly as fast as the character can run\u00a0and this “strength” can be turned against them.<\/p>\n

By attacking and running off, the quick and easy to kill enemies get to the rest of the companions first. Having outrun the rest of the mob, they are easily dispatched in an ambush. Afterward, the slow, shielded combatants finally catch up and they can then be eliminated without all of the\u00a0damage dealers that made them difficult to face.<\/p>\n

3 <\/span>Complete\u00a0Daily Objectives In Mere Minutes<\/h2>\n

After completing a character’s Harm Training, is there really any use in going back and doing it again? The answer to that question is an emphatic… kind of! Trying to fit in daily objectives\u00a0during major missions means using inferior moves at inconvenient moments which leads to embarrassment. You can spare your dignity and save yourself some time,\u00a0plus, it’s so easy that it feels like a cheat code!<\/p>\n

Enter your Harm Room, charge up your heroic abilities, find the ideal enemy mob, and before the encounter finishes, hit “Reload Checkpoint.” And just like that, there’s no more waiting around for ultimate abilities to refresh.<\/p>\n

2 <\/span>Open Those “Unlockable” Doors<\/h2>\n

A locked door in something like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim<\/em><\/a> is usually a subtle way of telling the player that there is an order in which to complete a dungeon and the player has found themselves too far ahead.<\/p>\n

Most players use Tactical Awareness as seen in the tutorial, don’t see anything, and assume, incorrectly, that the door opens later.<\/p>\n

The instinct in almost every online game is to play through the single-player story and then to jump in online. Upon\u00a0launching the Avengers Initiative before the single-player, the\u00a0gamer will be given a few spoilers by seeing who and what survived (or didn’t survive) the campaign.
