The infamous bungling trio Team Rocket has returned to Pokemon Masters<\/em> <\/strong>in a new limited-time event.<\/p>\n

These foils to\u00a0Ash Ketchum and his pals from the Pokemon anime have once again appeared\u00a0the gacha game Pokemon Masters<\/em>. The trio of Jessie, James, and Meowth have also made appearances in the Red <\/em>and Blue<\/em> re-imaginings Let\u2019s Go, Pikachu! <\/em>and Let\u2019s Go, Eevee!, <\/em>Niantic’s mobile game Pokemon Go<\/em><\/a>, <\/em>and Pokemon Masters<\/em>\u00a0in July.<\/p>\n

The first event, called \u201cDouble Trouble,\u201d had the team trying to track down the mythical Pokemon Celebi. Players who completed the event were able to unlock Jessie with her original companion, Arbok. Now James is in the spotlight, as completing this new event will unlock him in a sync pair with Weezing.<\/p>\n

The synopsis for this new Pokemon Masters<\/em><\/a> event, titled \u201cBlasting Off Again,\u201d hints that Team Rocket is planning to steal Pokemon\u00a0during\u00a0the fireworks festival on Pasio, the mobile game’s setting. Players will have to play the event, which began this past Wednesday and will continue through January 24, 2021, to find out more.<\/p>\n

Pokemon Masters<\/em> is in the midst of celebrating its one-year anniversary, with a host of new features like an Elite Four challenge, as well as log-in rewards and bonuses for players like gems and items. The game was rebranded to Pokemon Masters EX<\/em> to commemorate the occasion, which led an\u00a0unfortunate moment as many read its Twitter hashtag to be\u00a0#PokemonMasterSex<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Another event happening in Pokemon Masters <\/em>right now is the \u201cFamily Ties\u201d event, featuring the Pokemon Sun <\/em>and Moon<\/em> family\u00a0<\/em>of Lillie, Gladion, and their mother Lusamine<\/a>.<\/p>\n
