Prior to its launch yesterday, players had the option to pre-download the torrent for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/path-of-exile-heist-thieves\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Path of Exile<\/em>\u2019s <em>Heist<\/em> League<\/a>, but reports have come in that a number of them are\u00a0getting errors. Not only that, the issue has blocked players from accessing the rest of the game as well, forcing them to re-download the whole thing.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/path-of-exile-upcoming-heist-league-what-to-know\/\">Path Of Exile: Everything You Need To Know About The Upcoming Heist League<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The good news is that Grinding Gear is aware of this issue and has a solution. On the official <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/path-of-exile\/\"><em>Path of Exile<\/em><\/a> Twitter account, it explained that anyone dealing with the pre-download error can address it themselves. Affected players\u00a0need to remove the torrent file marked \u201cContent.ggpk,\u201d run the game, let it download the latest patch, and then restart. From there, they can complete the process by pausing the game once it starts checking resources and putting the .ggpk file back in.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/pathofexile\/status\/1307006145916141568\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Depending on one\u2019s technical know-how and download speeds, this might not be the most practical option for everyone\u00a0trying to get around the issue. Luckily, <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/path-of-exile-item-rebalance\/\">Grinding Gear<\/a>\u00a0says it is investigating <em>Heist<\/em>&#8216;s download problem and will provide\u00a0updates as soon as it can.
