After nearly 25 years, Super Mario 64<\/em><\/strong> is finally making its return to consoles with Super Mario 3D All-Stars<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Super Mario 64<\/em><\/a> has proven to be a huge selling point for the game, and all copies of\u00a0Super Mario 3D All-Stars <\/em>have previously sold out on Amazon<\/a>. Even after all this time, fans can not wait to get back into Peach’s Castle.<\/p>\n

The game is home to many secrets, such as the Wing Cap and the Vanish Cap<\/a>,\u00a0that are hidden in blocks located throughout\u00a0various levels. For players looking to find the Wing Cap hidden the red blocks there is a simple solution to unlock, it and it won’t take long for new players to find.<\/p>\n

After players grab their first ten\u00a0stars from\u00a0Super Mario 64<\/em> levels<\/a>, a light will shine down from the ceiling in\u00a0the main entrance to\u00a0the castle. Players should walk over to the picture of the sun on the floor and point their camera up directly into the light to be transported to a secret level called “Tower of the Wing Cap.” Eight red coins are scattered throughout the level, and the easiest solution to collect them all is to head immediately to the right and follow a\u00a0trail of coins.<\/p>\n

The path will gradually circle lower, and there will occasionally be pockets where two red coins are placed. If players use the Wing Cap<\/a> correctly, the star should appear at the tower in the middle of the level. Before players leave, they should hit the exclamation mark switch next to the star. By\u00a0doing this, all the\u00a0red boxes scattered throughout\u00a0different levels will now be available for players to use where they are located.<\/p>\n

Part of the fun in Mario 64<\/em>\u00a0is racing to collect all the stars. Unlocking red blocks to use the Wing Cap is only going to make that journey easier for players. However, this power-up only lasts\u00a0around\u00a060 seconds, so players should plan their route ahead of time before opening the red boxes. Hopefully, that will\u00a0point fans in the right direction to\u00a0fully experience all that Super Mario 64<\/em><\/a> has to offer. There is a reason the game is beloved by many, as the “Nintendo polish” that the developer\u00a0put into its old-school 3D platformer\u00a0makes it\u00a0a timeless experience.<\/p>\n

Super Mario 64<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0is now available as part of\u00a0Super Mario 3D All-Stars<\/em>, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.<\/p>\n
