It\u2019s the one blade that you might actually get away with bringing to a gunfight.\u00a0It is completely and utterly ridiculous.<\/p>\n

Nintendo might have a history of\u00a0building great controllers<\/a>, but none have been as wild this one. Looking back at the original line up, it’s almost horrifyingly limited compared to what we have now \u2014 and they are some of the least picked characters today. But back in the day? These eight characters were enough to tide us over for years! We can\u2019t even go two months without demanding a new character these days.<\/p>\n

With over 70 characters at\u00a0the fanbase’s\u00a0disposal, there isn\u2019t just one specific character that\u2019s everyone\u2019s favorite. However, there are a select few that everyone can agree are easily the worst<\/a>. The clear winner of the bunch is Little Mac.<\/p>\n

But with Spongebob being a playable character in the game whose health diminishes quicker than other characters, this is an all too familiar sight. However, standing idly by in\u00a0a three player free for all game while the other players battle it out is often a winning strategy.<\/p>\n

As if losing a\u00a0battle in the classic game is not enough, players have to suffer through the maddening victory of Peach, which is a fate worse than pandemonium itself. Even playing as Peach and winning makes the victory less rewarding. However, the thought of your\u00a0opponents\u00a0being forced to sit through the condescending victory screen does add some degree of smug satisfaction.<\/p>\n

The seemingly limitless crossover potential\u00a0in Smash Bros<\/i> is one of the reasons why\u00a0it has\u00a0changed the future of fighting games<\/a>. But there are always the same two or three characters that players choose to play as.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, when it comes to players\u2019 requests for new characters, the same names keep popping up, with Sora, Doom Slayer, and Crash being frequent mentions. These might be fun additions, but the constant demand\u00a0for them in the community is becoming something of a tired mantra to some.<\/p>\n
