This update will\u00a0allow <em>Marvel&#8217;s<\/em> <em>Spider-Man<\/em> to take full advantage of the PlayStation 5&#8217;s features\u00a0and have overall\u00a0improved\u00a0visuals.<\/p>\n<p>However, fans can only obtain <em>Marvel&#8217;s Spider-Man: Remastered<\/em> digitally\u00a0by purchasing\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/spider-man-miles-morales\/\">Spider-Man: Miles Morales<\/a> Ultimate Edition<\/em>, which would give them a voucher code used\u00a0to download the game to their PS5. The physical version of the <em>Ultimate Edition<\/em> also comes with a voucher, not with a\u00a0physical copy of <em>Spider-Man: Remastered<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/spider-man-miles-morales-brian-bendis-ps5\/\">Miles Morales Co-Creator Praises Upcoming Spider-Man PS5 Game<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>As a result, some fans have wondered whether\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/spider-man-ps4-miles-morales-ps5-remaster\/\"><em>Marvel&#8217;s Spider-Man: Remastered<\/em><\/a>\u00a0will\u00a0get a physical release for the PlayStation 5. When they took to Twitter to ask Insomniac about it directly, the developer replied that it has no plans to release the game physically. It didn&#8217;t give a specific reason why, but the answer provided does potentially leave the studio open to change its mind in the future.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/insomniacgames\/status\/1307477116913557506\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>In the same Twitter thread, another fan asked <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/spider-man-miles-morales-villain-tinkerer\/\">Insomniac Games<\/a> if players would be able to transfer their save data\u00a0from the original <em>Spider-Man PS4<\/em> to the new <em>Marvel&#8217;s Spider-Man: Remastered<\/em>. The developer said\u00a0&#8220;no,&#8221; so players won&#8217;t be able to use their original save files on the enhanced version of the game.<\/p>\n<p>There are some other things fans should consider before making their purchase. <em>Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition<\/em> will cost $69.99. The standard edition costs 20 dollars less at $49.99, but it won&#8217;t come with <em>Marvel&#8217;s Spider-Man: Remastered<\/em>. Alongside\u00a0its\u00a0enhanced visuals, the remastered game will also come with <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/spider-man-miles-morales-ultimate-edition-ps4-remaster\/\">three new alternative suits for Peter Parker<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Spider-Man: Remastered<\/em> also comes with its own trophy list, so returning players will have to obtain all of the trophies they earned from the original game in their new playthroughs. It&#8217;s unclear if the list will have new additions added to it, but the remastered version seems independent enough from the original that this may\u00a0be possible.<\/p>\n<p><em>Spider-Man: Remastered<\/em>\u00a0also comes with the original <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/spider-man-avengers-easter-egg\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Spider-Man PS4&#8217;s The City That Never Sleeps<\/em> DLC<\/a>. This DLC contains three separately-released episodes that all added new missions, suits, and enemies to the original game.
