Fall Guys<\/em> is probably the biggest surprise hit of the year and with the way things are going, that probably isn’t going to change. Even if fans\u00a0take out the fact that it seemingly came out of nowhere, it is still one of the\u00a0most entertaining games to release this year<\/a>. It’s simple and fun,\u00a0yet, it somehow manages to avoid most of the gamer rage that comes with most battle royales<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Everyone wants to be qualified into the next round but there are only so many players that can make it, so sometimes, sacrifices need to be made.<\/p>\n

This is compounded by the weird and inconsistent weightiness that the characters in Fall Guys<\/em> have, being surprisingly heavy sometimes and then light as a feather in the very next moment. This has led to some players being flung across the map by the game’s various obstacles. The strange thing is\u00a0it can actually help the player get ahead of the pack.<\/p>\n

These days, with everyone stuck inside, it’s easy to understand why people are feeling a little lonely. It’s why Fall Guys<\/em> is a breath of fresh air to most gamers.\u00a0Not only is it a battle royale game<\/a>\u00a0(that isn’t about shooting), but it is a fun light-hearted game that allows players to connect.\u00a0According to this comic\u00a0by Chris McCoy<\/a>, maybe\u00a0players need to\u00a0hug it out instead of fight.<\/p>\n

Most of the matches in Fall Guys<\/em> start off with the same kind of level. The many different obstacle course or race type levels that do really well at thinning out a decent chunk of the players in the game.\u00a0The variety of race types\u00a0also the game’s bread and butter and what puts it on the map in terms of games to look out for. The thing about them is that if a player falls behind, it is unlikely that they will catch up.\u00a0In the chance that comebacks are made, it’s even more satisfying. However, according to Raph_comic<\/a> players will continue to die trying.<\/p>\n

Miniskits_Comics<\/a> knows exactly\u00a0how it can feel to be a player with a tail. Things can get intense when it’s the final stretch of the match. The player with the tail is running with about the same intensity that somebody running away from a horde of zombies would be running.\u00a0The ever-impending\u00a0sense of doom as the player just narrowly dodges the other players brings gamers an adrenaline rush. With players diving at them from pretty much all sides, it would lead to an impressive win for those tailed players.<\/p>\n

The developers of Fall Guys<\/em>, Devolver Digital, recently had a contest to see which brand could donate the most money<\/a> to a charity that the developer was supporting. The winning brand would be rewarded with a skin in-game that would feature their brand as the main theme. Nerfnow captured the contest<\/a> with the highest bidder being from Japan. With how popular Fall Guys<\/em> has become, this would be a massive opportunity for “free” advertising, especially if the skin became permanent.<\/p>\n

The Seesaw game is probably the most iconic and recognizable out of all of the games in Fall Guys<\/em>. It’s the viewers on Twitch like the most and it’s the one that Twitch streamers get the most views on, so it’s a win-win. It also helps that it is commonly one of the first games in a match, so it has the most chance of being seen by players. The problem comes when the players actually play the game. It turns out that most people don’t know how a seesaw works and would rather fall multiple times instead of just figuring it out.<\/p>\n
