Xiaomi’s Mi Band 4 debuted last year but it’s only now that Xiaomi is launching the NFC-enabled version outside of China. It’s not a proper global launch, but two more European countries – Belarus and Ukraine are following Russia, which got it in June.<\/p>\n

Xiaomi has collaborated with Mastercard to enable contactless payments using the NFC chip so a number of Belarusian and Ukrainian banks now offer the service. You still have to be a Mastercard holder, though.<\/p>\n

There’s no word on when and if the Mi Band 4 NFC will make it outside those countries but the Mastercard partnership clearly…<\/p>\n\n
