In the wake of a surprising leak, Nintendo has stealthily released\u00a0Kirby Fighters 2<\/em><\/strong> on the Nintendo eShop. Available now for $19.99, the Kirby vs. Kirby brawler pits fans against each other in an all-out Kirby battle royale.<\/p>\n

Curious fans originally unearthed the game yesterday, thanks to an odd glitch on the Play Nintendo website<\/a>. After fans gained access to the unannounced title, news of the leak quickly spread, and Nintendo was seemingly forced to make a move: as of this morning, the new game is\u00a0available on the Nintendo eShop (along with a trailer showing off gameplay features.)<\/p>\n

In short,\u00a0Kirby Fighters 2<\/em><\/a> essentially feels like a version of\u00a0Smash Bros<\/em>. that features nothing but Kirby. The game, which is a sequel to a minigame available in the 3DS title,\u00a0Kirby: Triple Deluxe<\/em>, allows up to four players to duke it out on a 2D stage with platforms.\u00a0<\/i>Players can choose between Kirby with 17 different copy abilities, or, a select few other\u00a0series stars, like Meta Knight and Magolor.<\/p>\n
