The 1990s was an era that gave rise to some of the best arcade games ever made<\/a>\u00a0and popularized many iconic franchises. This was when arcades\u00a0were at\u00a0their peak, and now fans of retro games can put their money towards reliving those glory days, because the SNK MVSX Arcade Machine is now available for pre-order on Amazon.<\/p>\n

Originally slated to launch sometime in October, the Amazon listing states that it will now launch on November 24, priced at $499. Based on the classic NEOGEO MVS arcade cabinet, the MVSX will come with 50 retro titles from SNK<\/a>\u2019s library, including ten King of Fighters<\/em> games, eight Fatal Fury<\/em> games, six Metal Slug<\/em> games, and six Samurai Shodown<\/em> games.<\/p>\n

Like the original MVS, the base unit of the new machine will sport joysticks and buttons for up to 2 players, only this time the buttons will be programmable. Aside from that, the SNK MVSX<\/a> will come with a 17-inch 1280×1024 LCD screen, stereo speakers, a backlit marquee, and a USB port, in addition to a 32-inch stand for those who want to play standing up like in the 90s.<\/p>\n
