Those who live in the United Kingdom are getting some very exciting news, especially for those that wanted to get their hands on a\u00a0PlayStation 5<\/strong> pre-order but missed their chance after buying the PS5 was very chaotic<\/a>. Tons of people were mind-boggled by the difficulty of trying to place a pre-order with technical glitches and miscommunication abounding, but British gamers are getting a second chance on Friday morning.<\/p>\n

The way Sony handled\u00a0PS5<\/a>\u00a0sales was confusing and laughable to the point of gamers making memes about console<\/a> pre-orders, and not just for the PS5. The Xbox Series X\/S pre-orders were similarly glitchy and Microsoft, despite having poked fun at Sony for the mix-up, just didn’t come across as consistent either. Regardless, both pre-orders sold out the day they happened and many people missed their chance to get an order in.<\/p>\n

Those people who were disappointed by the original wave of pre-orders were excited to hear about GameStop launching a second pre-order wave<\/a> for PS5 on Friday,\u00a0and another retailer is providing that opportunity the same day. Now UK gamers get their shot at trying to secure a PS5 pre-order and hopefully, without any strange restrictions like have been seen in the States.<\/p>\n

Sony promised more PS5 pre-order waves<\/a> to make up for its confusing first wave, and it is most likely no coincidence that two major game retailers are releasing limited stock on the same day. While these are currently the only retailers doing a second PS5 wave that are currently known about, fans should keep an eye on retailer websites and on gaming\u00a0news sources to see if anyone else is giving them a golden opportunity like this.<\/p>\n

It’s unclear on whether GAME will take international shipping, although it’s likely this is for UK customers only. People wanting to place pre-orders should make sure to know their emails and passwords for their GAME Reward accounts, and those in the region should keep an eye on the retailer’s website for more info regarding the time.<\/p>\n
