Microsoft and GameStop appear to have reserved next-generation Xbox Series<\/a> consoles for\u00a0some of those who\u00a0were approved for the Xbox All Access program but missed the pre-order window. It is currently unknown whether this applies to other retailers as well.<\/p>\n

The Xbox All Access Program<\/a>\u00a0allows Xbox fans to pick up an Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S console at launch without any up-front payment.\u00a0By also including\u00a0two years’ worth of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, the program gives gamers everything they need to enjoy next-gen games. Those interested need to apply for the program, which would allow participants to pay for an Xbox Series console\u00a0in monthly installments\u00a0over two years.<\/p>\n

According to Twitter user @gundamman, those accepted into the Xbox All Access program will have the chance to pre-order an Xbox Series console in the very near future. Although the Xbox All Access program<\/a> released the\u00a0fine print of the next-gen upgrade\u00a0last year, it did not clarify whether participants were entitled to a new console at launch. This appears to be the first confirmation that the program may functionally serve as an automatic pre-order.<\/p>\n
