Monster Crown<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0has just received a brand new update. The Pokemon<\/em>-like game, which is currently in Early Access, Monster Crown<\/em><\/a>\u00a0received its first update last month, and\u00a0included online monster trading, NET Eggs, and the “Move Learner.” Today’s update adds more features and content.<\/p>\n

Monster Crown<\/em> is already a big success on Steam<\/a>, as there seems to always be an appetite for Pokemon<\/em> style games.\u00a0Studio Aurum’s monster taming RPG,\u00a0Monster Crown<\/em> allows players to explore a big word, fight, breed, capture, and fuse over 200 base monster variations, compete against other people, and make difficult decisions in fighting against evil.<\/p>\n

The second content update includes three “monstrous” additions. A new gene lap has been added to the Monster Crown<\/em><\/a>, allowing for more experimentation in creating custom breeds of monsters. High-temperature breeding is also now a part of the game, resulting in embryos that are very valuable. The update also brings a brand new monster named Apo, which is apparently rather harmless.<\/p>\n

Many consider Monster Crown<\/em> to be one of the best new indie titles<\/a>. It is not only a Pokemon-like<\/em> that copies some of the core mechanics of the game, but it also has very deep gameplay mechanics that many fans of the Nintendo and Gamefreak developed Pokemon<\/em> have been asking and hoping for. Players can also battle and trade online. The deeper, and in some ways more mature, gameplay also comes with a more adult tone. The story of the game is much more dismal than the average Pokemon<\/em> title and content and language are also on the mature side as well.<\/p>\n

Monster Crown<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0is out now in Steam Early Access.<\/p>\n
