Many big publishers had something to show, including Bandai Namco, which\u00a0provided a lot of new updates and information. Yet, <strong><em>Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>seems to have been overlooked, and fans are none too happy about it.<\/p>\n<p>During its recent Tokyo Game Show stream, Bandai Namco presented numerous updates for some of its biggest titles, including those that continue to receive support years after release.\u00a0From <em>Tekken 7<\/em> seeing the return of a beloved character, to even 2018&#8217;s <em>Jump Force<\/em> getting a new DLC\u00a0fighter\u00a0from the\u00a0<em>Yu Yu Hakusho<\/em>\u00a0franchise, there were a lot of DLC announcements to be excited about.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/jump-force-yu-yu-hakusho\/\">Jump Force Adding Character From Yu Yu Hakusho<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>While Bandai Namco&#8217;s presentation has seen many franchise fans happy over the announcements,\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/dragon-ball-z-kakarot\/\">Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>players are particularly less thrilled over what many consider a non-existent showing. Both Reddit and Twitter users are mocking the short\u00a0update provided for the anime<em>\u00a0<\/em>RPG that\u00a0only really confirmed\u00a0the previously\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/dragon-ball-z-kakarot-card-battle-mode-yugioh\/\">leaked\u00a0card battle mode\u00a0coming to\u00a0<em>Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot<\/em><\/a>. The official subreddit for the game is filled with threads of fans upset over the lack of any substantial update for the 2020 title.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/KenXyro\/status\/1310107956202016769\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>There are two big reasons for the disappointment from fans over Bandai Namco&#8217;s quick update to <em>Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot<\/em> at TGS. The first big issue is that many fans were expecting a trailer for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/dragon-ball-z-kakarot-dlc-2-announcement\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Dragon Ball Z: Kakarots<\/em>&#8216; recently revealed DLC 2<\/a>, which is set to introduce Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta alongside Golden Frieza. Instead of a trailer or even a firm release date, fans simply saw the same images released in the announcement tweet.<\/p>\n<p>The other big source of ire comes more from the expectations around what Bandai Namco was\u00a0set to announce. Before the publisher&#8217;s Toyko Game Show stream, rumors circulated about a <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/dragon-ball-z-kakarot-free-update-wish-list\/\">free content update for <em>Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot<\/em><\/a>. These rumors\u00a0started to gain traction back in July due to the card game battle mode that was leaked in V-Jump.\u00a0With Bandai Namco being a publisher well-regarded for supporting its games after launch, fans are upset that a title that released this year seemingly has had little in the way of any updates.<\/p>\n<p>As <em>Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot<\/em> fans end the Tokyo Game Show presentation with disappointment, players\u00a0still have the upcoming DLC to look forward to.
