Minecraft<\/em><\/strong>‘s next major update is apparently going to include a new mob, and Mojang<\/a> is inviting fans to join a livestream on October 3, 2020 to decide which one it’s going to be.<\/p>\n

The announcement made by Mojang Creative Writer Sofia Dankis today implies that the next\u00a0Minecraft<\/em> update will bring in a mob from one of the franchise’s satellite games. The last mob to join the ranks via majority vote was the Phantom, which was the first aggressive flying mob, and a terror to players who do not get enough in-game sleep. One choice is\u00a0a mob from Mojang’s ARPG spin-off\u00a0Minecraft Dungeons<\/em><\/a>, but this vote may instead\u00a0lead to\u00a0a\u00a0mob being adapted from Minecraft Earth<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0October 2020\u00a0Minecraft<\/em>\u00a0Live show<\/a>\u00a0will be broadcast via the Minecraft<\/em> website on October, as well as stream through official accounts on Facebook, Twitch, and YouTube. For those planning to vote for one of the new mobs, the place to go will\u00a0probably be the official Minecraft<\/em> page. It is likely that Mojang already has resources ready for all three, so the runners-up may have a chance to join the base game in future updates.<\/p>\n
