While sales numbers aren’t the only deciding factor in whether a game will stand the test of time, it\u00a0can be a major indicator of how successful a series is.\u00a0Katsuhiro Harada, the Tekken<\/em> franchise’s producer and director, announces a\u00a0huge\u00a0sales milestone for\u00a0Tekken 7<\/strong><\/em>, as well as the entirety of the Tekken<\/em> series<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Many fans of Tekken 7<\/em> are currently looking forward to additional\u00a0moves, UI adjustment, and a new ranking system that are coming with Tekken 7<\/em> Season 4<\/a>, which was leaked\u00a0by\u00a0Bandai Namco itself after\u00a0the company accidentally posted a video detailing the season roadmap as well as a new character for the roster.\u00a0Some information has\u00a0been\u00a0officially released since are sales numbers for the\u00a0Tekken\u00a0<\/em>series.<\/p>\n

Harada, known both for his signature\u00a0sunglasses<\/a> and the huge influence he’s had on the fighting game scene, announced on his official Twitter account that\u00a0Tekken 7<\/em> has hit over six million sales, helping bring the total number of sales for the series up over 50 million. These are no small numbers, and this\u00a0goes to show how far the franchise has come since\u00a0Tekken 1<\/em> released in 1994.<\/p>\n
