Sega has debuted gameplay footage of Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis<\/strong><\/em> during TGS 2020 after being first announced back in July<\/a>. Fans were able to see three base Class types the game will offer as Sega demonstrated the game’s “open-field” action and gameplay mechanics for\u00a0Hunter, Ranger and Force characters.<\/p>\n

Hunters are well-balanced for close-ranged combat and defense, whereas both Rangers and Force class characters are long-range specialists. All class types can utilize different class weapons options, allowing players to customize their experience to suit their character preferences. Given the game’s penchant for crossovers<\/a>, fans can probably expect additional cosmetic\u00a0items in the future, too.<\/p>\n

As it showed off the class types, Sega noted how Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis<\/em> will be divided into two sections: “Exploration” and “Battle.” When experiencing the “Exploration” section of the game, players can, unsurprisingly, explore areas, finding and earning items for their journey.<\/p>\n
