Final Fantasy 16<\/em><\/strong>‘s\u00a0producer Naoki Yoshida has revealed the game’s graphics will be improved before the latest iteration in the long-running series is released.<\/p>\n

The game was revealed during Sony’s recent PlayStation 5 Showcase event, with Yoshida acknowledging the game’s graphics during a recent panel at TGS 2020. According to the producer, the Final Fantasy 16<\/a><\/em> trailer featured graphics comprised of real-time assets. Square Enix did not want to showcase a pre-rendered teaser, which may have given fans an incorrect impression of the game.<\/p>\n

Yoshida noted how the team has not yet performed any optimization or deep graphic fine-tuning as of yet. He acknowledged that the graphics shown in the reveal trailer were not representative of the final game, sharing that he is confident Square Enix will improve and add the necessary graphical finesse expected of\u00a0a next-generation Final Fantasy<\/em> game by the time the title is released.<\/p>\n
