2020 has seen an abundance of digital gaming events<\/a> taking the place of E3, Gamescom, PAX, and other physical conventions that are too risky to host amidst COVID-19. Today, Razer announced that it\u2019s adding to that list with its own event, RazerCon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Set to take place on October 10, the peripheral maker\u2019s inaugural convention will be a \u201cfull-day digital event produced by Razer<\/a> and its network of hardware and software partners.\u201d According to the press release, RazerCon 2020 will serve to showcase Razer\u2019s newest products<\/a>, as one might expect, but viewers will also be treated to exclusive previews for a number of upcoming games like Empire of Sin<\/em> and Torchlight 3<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Razer is promising to deliver more visual spectacle than the average livestreamed event. Starting things off will be a keynote presentation with Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan that will use a mix of live-compositied footage and \u201cimmersive mixed-reality technology\u201d to set it against the skyline of Singapore. Additionally, Razer is calling RazerCon \u201cthe world\u2019s first RGB lighting-reactive livestream.\u201d What this means is that anyone with Razer Chroma<\/a>-enabled devices will be able to sync their devices to the livestream and have their lights move to the music during the post-event concert.<\/p>\n

RazerCon 2020 will stream across Razer\u2019s social media channels, including Twitch, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter. As a bonus, attendees who tune in wil be able to take part in contests and giveaways for a chance to win prizes like a Razer Blade 15 laptop<\/a>, in-game items for a number of titles, and beta keys from participating developers.<\/p>\n

RazerCon 2020<\/strong> will take place on October 10, starting at 9:00 AM PST.<\/p>\n
