The\u00a0official sixth season for Call of Duty: Warzone<\/em><\/strong> is on its way to players. It will be\u00a0adding a new DLC package for the Halloween season, where players will gain access to new weapon skins and other cosmetics for multiplayer modes to match the holiday.<\/p>\n

As the year heads towards October, Call of Duty<\/em><\/a> and many other video game series are preparing themselves for the frightful season. This includes a variety of games, as even\u00a0Animal Crossing<\/em> is getting ready for October<\/a>, and Call of Duty<\/em> isn’t missing out, either. Many details for the new content come from Activison, and it reveals what players can expect in the sixth season this fall.<\/p>\n

Season Six of\u00a0Warzone<\/em>\u00a0is bringing a host of additional items, maps, weapons, and more for players to sink their teeth into, including a new fast travel system.\u00a0Among the new updates, Infinity Ward is preparing to get\u00a0into the Halloween spirit through several cosmetic skins and items available\u00a0with the Battle Pass system. This is a straightforward way for gamers\u00a0to get into the season. For example, the online game\u00a0Among Us<\/em>\u00a0added collectible Halloween hats<\/a>\u00a0for players to customize their avatars.\u00a0However, Warzone<\/em>\u00a0will be adding much\u00a0more\u00a0than that in\u00a0the new season.<\/p>\n

Players will be able to gain access to various new add-ons through the Battle Pass system such as new operators with the\u00a0major characters Farah and Nikolai, two new weapons and the War Tracks. Infinity Ward intends to release\u00a0a horror-themed event for Call of Duty<\/em><\/a>\u00a0called the Haunting of Verdansk, which will arrive on October 20.\u00a0On top of all that, the season will add well over\u00a0two\u00a0dozen operator skins for multiple factions, a Halloween Store bundle, and even a pet bat,\u00a0too.<\/p>\n

The blog revealed many operator skins for the sixth season, but it didn’t provide that\u00a0many images of them, with a couple notable skins stand out including a “Minotaur” operator skin for Farah.\u00a0There will also be five exterior Halloween-themed vehicle skins: the \u201cMutated\u201d ATV, \u00a0the\u201cFlight of Torment\u201d Helicopter, the \u201cFrom the Deep\u201d SUV, \u201cStained\u201d Tac Rover skins, and an additional “Grizzly End” Cargo Truck skin available at Tier 100. These numerous vehicle skins make sense, since\u00a0a major focus for season\u00a0six is the subway systems<\/a> in the new maps used for fast travel in Warzone<\/em>.<\/p>\n

With October right around the corner, Infinity Ward is adding more than a new sniper rifle in\u00a0the sixth season<\/a>\u00a0for\u00a0Warzone<\/em> before Halloween arrives.<\/p>\n

Call of Duty: Warzone\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>is available\u00a0on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.<\/p>\n
