Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War<\/em><\/strong> has gotten\u00a0more details\u00a0revealed in the past few weeks.\u00a0Infinity Ward and Activision\u00a0teased the Zombies mode<\/a> for Black Ops Cold War<\/em> not too long ago in Modern Warfare, <\/em>and now more details on this upcoming\u00a0mode has been released\u00a0on the\u00a0Call of Duty<\/em> website.<\/p>\n

Call of Duty’s<\/em>\u00a0Zombies mode is a staple of the\u00a0franchise<\/a>\u00a0going\u00a0back in\u00a0World at War<\/em>, and has been a key element in the Black Ops<\/em> games ever since. More information has been revealed about the\u00a0mode for the upcoming game set to release in\u00a0November. It remains a four-person co-op mode that\u00a0will be taking old and new players alike on a horror-filled adventure\u00a0as two groups, the CIA-backed\u00a0Requiem and the Soviet-led\u00a0Omega Group, fight to discover the secrets of an old World War 2 bunker ravaged by time and zombies.<\/p>\n

The game promises a narrative experience for players to enjoy with new characters to meet and strange zombies to face off against. One big announcement made by Call of Duty<\/em>\u00a0is that the mode will also be cross-platform and include cross-generation play for\u00a0all platforms. This falls in line with news earlier this month\u00a0about Black Ops Cold War<\/em> having cross-play for all previously-revealed modes,<\/a>\u00a0as well as cross-progression. Now players know they can team up with\u00a0each other in the Zombies mode using\u00a0different platforms, whether on a PC, PlayStation,\u00a0or Xbox console.<\/p>\n

On top of the that, Zombies mode will also have\u00a0cross-generational play alongside other\u00a0multiplayer\u00a0game modes<\/a> in Black Ops Cold War<\/em>. This will allow players to play the mode on current and next-generation consoles including the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, or Xbox Series X\/S.<\/p>\n

With any of these platforms, players will not be left behind and can team up to face the hordes of zombies that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War<\/em><\/a> will have lining up in the Cold War-era setting. Treyarch and Raven Software clearly\u00a0intend to deliver a gaming experience to players that will be enjoyable for all friend groups across not only platforms, but both generations.<\/p>\n

After various teases for Black Ops Cold War’s<\/em>\u00a0Zombies<\/a>, the game’s developers\u00a0and Activision appear to have a lot of\u00a0content ready for fans to enjoy once this new game releases. With ongoing Alpha and Beta tests for its multiplayer coming out,\u00a0those players should have a good idea what to expect.<\/span><\/p>\n
