Minecraft<\/em><\/strong> fans have plenty of new content to look forward to as the franchise as a whole received a ton of different announcements throughout the Minecraft Live event. During the show, it was announced that Max Brooks will be releasing a follow up to his first Minecraft<\/a><\/em> novel, titled\u00a0Minecraft: The Mountain<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Minecraft: The Moutain<\/em> will be a direct sequel to Max Brooks’ 2017 hit book\u00a0Minecraft: The Island<\/em> which featured different chapters in which each taught the reader a different life lesson. Minecraft: The Island<\/em> told a story of a hero stranded in the world of Minecraft<\/em><\/a>, learning how things work just like players of the overwhelmingly popular game once did. Minecraft:\u00a0The Mountain<\/em> will\u00a0continue the adventures of the same protagonist\u00a0who finds another stranded wanderer\u00a0in this\u00a0Minecraft<\/em> world and the two of them will continue their adventures together.<\/p>\n

Max Brooks’ Minecraft: The Island<\/em> was a New York Times Best Seller in 2017 and the first official Minecraft<\/em> novel. Brooks is most famous for his best selling book, World War Z<\/em>, which was\u00a0adapted loosely into a feature film\u00a0sharing the same title starring Bard Pitt in 2013 and had a video game\u00a0under the same name in 2019.\u00a0The video game, World War Z<\/a><\/em>, received positive reviews and offered a satisfactory experience that allows friends to wipe out hordes of zombies.<\/p>\n

Judging but the title, Minecraft: The Moutain<\/em> takes place in the mountains, obviously, which may share the same kind of setting as the recently announced Minecraft Dungeons<\/a><\/em> DLC, Howling Peaks. Minecraft Dungeons<\/em> Howling Peaks<\/em> was just announced during Minecraft Live and is bringing new missions and enemies for players to face off against up on harrowing peaks.<\/p>\n

Minecraft: The Mountain<\/em><\/strong> is scheduled to release in 2021.<\/p>\n
