On October 8 at 8:00 a.m. CT, the next major content for\u00a0<em>Mortal Kombat 11\u00a0<\/em>will be unveiled to the public.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/mortal-kombat-11-8-million-copies\/\">Mortal Kombat 11 Hits Massive Sales Milestone<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The tease is short, but has already caused rampant speculation online. Sporting the caption &#8220;they are koming,&#8221; it sees a Tarkatan running from\u00a0a pursuer\u00a0through\u00a0what appears to be a dense jungle. The footage then cuts to the date and time of the reveal. The\u00a0<em>Mortal Kombat\u00a0<\/em>fanbase got to work immediately trying to decipher what the mysterious clip could be depicting, with many coming to the conclusion that the teaser\u00a0could be hinting at the return of <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/mortal-kombat-11-mileena-tease-ed-boon\/\"><em>Mortal Kombat<\/em> series veteran\u00a0Mileena<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MortalKombat\/status\/1313540479330390016\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The top comment on the announcement as of this writing reminds viewers that Mileena&#8217;s territory was the Kuatan Jungle, and that the Tarkatans\u00a0betrayed\u00a0her to follow Kotal Kahn and Kitana. However, this theory\u00a0has split the community decisively, with many believing that Mileena will never come to the game after several remarks made by Boon himself.
