Pokemon GO<\/strong><\/em> players have plenty to stay busy with this fall thanks to events like the Fashion Week tie-in, the Niantic anniversary event<\/a>, and the upcoming Halloween festivities. Those events are sure to be quickly followed by a long list of other holiday celebrations that span November through early January, but that’s not all that’s going on. A new sponsored partner event is coming to Mexico and bringing an exciting opportunity to catch a brand new shiny in the mobile AR game.<\/p>\n

The upcoming event is a partnership with 7-Eleven and offers players who have earned entry to the event some special temporary field research in addition to other event bonuses. One of the most exciting parts of the event for many players will likely be the addition of shiny Ferroseed and its evolution to Pokemon GO<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Although shiny Ferroseed is being added to the game’s list of rare shiny Pokemon<\/a> as part of the event, it’s unclear at this point whether the shiny will be available to other players after the event concludes. Hopefully that’s the case, but if not, perhaps the shiny will return in an event that is available globally sometime in the near future.<\/p>\n
