However, more news shows this hasn&#8217;t stopped the company from pushing its plans to expand the service to other platforms, let alone Xbox consoles.<\/p>\n<p>Since it was released,\u00a0the Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer has stated <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/xbox-phil-spencer-ambitions-project-xcloud\/\">Xbox&#8217;s ambitions for xCloud<\/a> have included bringing the service to players across as many devices as possible. The service has certainly faced some issues in doing so, but this hasn&#8217;t dissuaded the company from pursuing these plans. Especially when it comes to fulfilling the goal of expanding\u00a0the service to as many devices as possible. Spencer spoke with IGN on one such plan: bringing xCloud to Xbox consoles.<\/p>\n<p>This first\u00a0came from Spencer&#8217;s\u00a0response to a fan on Twitter who asked\u00a0why the Xbox Game Pass service doesn&#8217;t stream to the Xbox consoles and PC. He responded that the xCloud team very much plans to bring the streaming service over to both platforms, but\u00a0it is part of a very long to-do list of things. Earlier this past summer, Xbox announced it planned to have\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/xbox-game-pass-ultimate-project-xcloud\/\">xCloud combine with Xbox Game Pass<\/a> to allow subscribers to stream their games from the library on phones and tablets.\u00a0Demonstrating\u00a0that\u00a0the company was already working on seriously expanding the streaming service\u00a0to current-generation consoles.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/XboxP3\/status\/1313669828066992128\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Spencer would continue to state he wants the service to run smoothly for console and PC players as it does for users on mobile devices.\u00a0The streaming service is only available to Android phones and tablets\u00a0at the moment, and <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/xbox-fans-retaliate-apple-xcloud\/\">Apple\u00a0blocked\u00a0xCloud<\/a> from Apple products due to its new store policies. This keeps Microsoft from streaming games from the Xbox library to Apple devices, which\u00a0caused a strong reaction from players and customers on\u00a0the new changes. Not to mention the streaming service is currently unavailable\u00a0to the Xbox consoles as well, but the company\u00a0intends to change that.<\/p>\n<p>There were\u00a0even <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/xcloud-ios-news-coming-soon\/\">rumors of iOS testing for xCloud<\/a>\u00a0last week that hinted towards more news\u00a0soon to be revealed, but that remains to be seen.
