The medieval-themed season of content will likely be seeing the addition of another gaming crossover, though, as <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/fall-guys\/\"><em>Fall Guys<\/em><\/a> has seen a <em>Sonic the Hedgehog<\/em> skin leaked online.<\/p>\n<p>While the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fall-guys-season-2-ogre-horse-jester-princess-costumes\/\">knight and wizard skins added to <em>Fall Guys<\/em><\/a> are certainly cute, Sonic may take the cake in terms of adorableness. Featuring the classic red boots worn by the speedster and his trademark blue fur, the look is spot on. A pair of big white gloves and spiky hair on the back of the bean\u2019s head only completes the Sonic cosplay, with the new <em>Fall Guys<\/em> outfit looking\u00a0pretty impressive.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span class=\"related-single\">RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fall-guys-memes-hilarious\/\">10 Fall Guys Memes That Are Too Hilarious For Words<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While the leak including an image of the costume is pretty damning and almost guarantees the skin\u2019s inclusion, the source for the leak only adds to the likelihood of Sonic joining <em>Fall Guys<\/em>. Reputable <em>Fortnite<\/em> leaker Hypex, known for leaking many of the battle royale\u2019s Marvel skins as well as the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fortnite-halloween-2020-leak-midas\/\">upcoming <em>Fortnite<\/em> Halloween content<\/a>, has been proven right many times in the past. With an image for the skin being posted along with the Tweet from Hypex, it seems all but guaranteed that gaming\u2019s most well-known hedgehog will be arriving in season 2.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HypexFG\/status\/1314218672790142980?s=20\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time <em>Fall Guys<\/em> has seen a gaming crossover, as Mediatonic\u2019s popular collection of party games has seen a few characters make cameos already. Early on, multiple Steam crossovers happened, with Gordon Freeman from <em>Half Life<\/em> joining <em>Fall Guys<\/em> along with the Scout from <em>Team Fortress<\/em>. Chell and P-Body of <em>Portal<\/em> fame made appearances as well, and<em> Fall Guy<\/em>s even received a <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/fall-guys-gris-crossover-skin\/\">neat crossover with the indie game <em>Gris<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Based on past skins and now the inclusion of Sonic, the door is clearly open for far more video game crossovers in <em>Fall Guys<\/em>. The game\u2019s PS4 console exclusivity could possibly lead to many new skins based on PlayStation icons, but it remains to be seen if any crossovers happen with Sony-owned characters. At the very least, <em>Fall Guys<\/em> fans will be getting a <em>Sonic the Hedgehog<\/em> crossover, which is yet another win for the character in 2020. With <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/sonic-the-hedgehog-30-anniversary-announcements\/\">big plans in store for Sonic\u2019s 30th anniversary<\/a> next year, the character does not seem to be going anywhere soon.<\/p>\n<p>With the leaked skin still a good bit away, though, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/fall-guys-season-2-patch-notes\/\"><em>Fall Guys<\/em> players can view the season 2 patch notes<\/a> to get an idea of what content can be accessed right now.
