Star Wars: Squadrons<\/i><\/a> isn’t a long game by any stretch. It should come as no surprise then that it leaves a lot of questions behind in its wake. Some of them are about certain characters introduced in this game that fans are curious about what happens to them after the story ends.<\/p>\n

The game primarily takes place before Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens<\/i>, almost right after the battle of Endor. So suffice it to say, there is a large gap in between this game and that film wherein these characters could return. There are also issues in regard to some senseless things that happen. It’s time for a spoiler-filled discussion to get to the bottom of things.<\/p>\n

10 <\/span>The Player<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

There are many senseless issues with the player character for either side<\/a>. One, why don\u2019t they talk? It seemed like an odd idea to create a canon Star Wars<\/em> game but have both main characters be player created and voiceless. Besides that, it\u2019s a bit strange then that this nameless character, nameless in that they are never referred to whatever name the player gives them, is then trusted to lead each squad as seemingly a rookie.<\/p>\n

9 <\/span>Vanguard Vs. Titan<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

In battles, both squads rarely get into fights with each other. In the bigger battles, if they are on the same battleground, they don\u2019t actually fight each other except for when the player guns down Lindon. It doesn\u2019t make a whole lot of sense that both sides never conquer over the other and or survive when countless others die as random cannon fodder. That\u2019s just video games though so one can\u2019t fully fault Star Wars: Squadrons<\/em> for that.<\/p>\n

8 <\/span>The Time Skip<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

There are a lot of unanswered questions with the time skip. The game basically starts off a little ways through the first Star Wars<\/em> and then skips ahead to fours years later after the battle at Endor. What were Lindon and the Vanguard Squadron doing in that time? Moreover, on the other side, what was the player up to before they joined the Titans? Both stories are very abrupt when they time jump.<\/p>\n

7 <\/span>How Did Lindon Survive?<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Another aspect of Lindon that doesn\u2019t make sense is how he survives his crash. Since he didn\u2019t die on screen with like the game showing his body engulfed in flame, it was sort of obvious he was alive.<\/p>\n

How, even he doesn\u2019t know. One could speculate that the Force had something to do with it but if that was the case wouldn\u2019t Keo perhaps feel his presence in the Force if he was alive?<\/p>\n

6 <\/span>Is Keo A Jedi Or What?<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

On the further subject of Keo, is she a Jedi or what? Keo says that her gut feelings are part of the Force and that she can sort of feel its presence. It is faint, but the power is there. After this, did she try and become a Jedi? There is a lot of time to fill in before Star Wars Episode VII<\/em> starts to happen so who knows.<\/p>\n

5 <\/span>Why Did Kerrill Leave?<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Kerrill seemed obsessed with defeating Lindon and the Vanguard squad. So when she witnesses his \u201cdeath\u201d and the destruction of the Starhawk, she seemingly brushed her hands together and had her force rollout. Why wouldn\u2019t someone that obsessed with revenge want to make sure every little bow was tied? Last time she left things undone it turned out disastrous. By the end, it is never even shown that Kerrill knows this battle was ultimately lost.<\/p>\n

4 <\/span>What Exactly Was The Starhawk?<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Speaking of the Starhawk, what exactly was it? Lindon explains that it was a weapon built from the wreckage of the Empire\u2019s tech. It is not so much a ship so much as it is a literal flying cannon. It has the gravity tractor beam, which is strong, but is that really it? It seemed way too vulnerable to be a practical weapon in the war which the New Republic soon found out.\u00a0Maybe they can do a whole Death Star 2 sort of deal<\/a> in Star Wars: Squadrons 2<\/em>.<\/p>\n

3 <\/span>How Could The Starhawk Activate In The End?<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

There is one more nagging question about the Starhawk that doesn\u2019t make sense. In the final battle as the Empire, players will fly inside the Starhawk and take out its gravity wells which control its power.<\/p>\n

This mission succeeds but in the mission after, the Starhawk has enough power to use another tractor beam to attract it to the moon. How is that possible if the gravity wells, or whatever they were, were destroyed?<\/p>\n

2 <\/span>Who Is Shen?<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Is Shen anybody important<\/a>? He may just be a pilot but the fact that his face is always hidden may make some fans curious if he is really someone else.\u00a0His helmet does share a similar aesthetic to how Darth Vader\u2019s helmet looks in Star Wars Episode VII. Is this a coincidence, homage, or something more?<\/p>\n

1 <\/span>The Power Of Repair Droids<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

This one is both a pro tip<\/a> and an entry in the plot hole, or senseless category. First of all, if one has the option to put a repair droid on a ship, do it. They can heal any repair and act on a cool down so they can seemingly be reused infinitely. No matter what fires or broken glass may occur, the droid is there with its magic. And it really is magic because are droids really that powerful?<\/p>\n
